 PHP will be used as backend programming language with Cake PHP framework.
 Database work like creating database, alter database or table etc. By using MySQL.
 To maintain a daily diary having date and topic of each day.

Name: Insurance Made Easy

Technology to be used: PHP 7.0

PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development but also used as
a general-purpose programming language. Originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994, the
PHP reference implementation is now produced by The PHP Group. PHP originally stood

for Personal Home Page, but it now stands for the recursive acronym PHP: Hypertext
Preprocessor. Hypertext preprocessor is a widely used to develop dynamic web pages. For this
purpose, PHP code is embedded into the HTML code and interpreted by a web server like
apache.

PHP 7.0 got some new feature like speed improvement , new operators like combined
comparison operator < = >, implementation of error handling etc.

Objective

The main objectives of this project are:

 It is a web application which is developed for tracking the details of insurance policies
customer details , companies details.
 It has facilities like search tools for insurance awareness articles , guidelines ,
illustrations through images , and make comparison between different companies
policies.
 In this online process the user enter into the website and it will show details about
insurance and its types also it will show the different duration schemes to corresponding
insurance policy.
 Main objective is to allow admin users to register insured persons with their full details.
And it also provides the facilities like delete unwanted person data and or edit the
insured person data.
 It reduces time and manpower.
 To minimize the workplace of insurance agent.
 To eliminate delays in report generation.
 To create stable system or minimize the risk or failure factor.
 To facilate faster searching of information and reducing time, energy and cost.
 The proposed system is used to eliminate the drawbacks of the existing system and
make easier to manage policy holder details, agent details , policy details , payment
details.

Scope of the Project

This project will be developed using PHP and MySQL database. Combination of these two are
used to provide paperless work environment. And admin can easily find their customer record.
It will calculate insurance premium for a particular customer based on insurance package

policy. It will automatically inform the admin regarding customer premium. And transcations
are done in an easy and effective manner and most part of it is computerized and manual labour
of entering transactions is not necessary. And this project should provide quick access to record
maintaince and result important reviews about business. So that growth can be easily
compared and should provide various report shown the related details. So that important
decisions would be taken easily.

Role in project

My role in this project is to develop the whole website. From designing, development to
deployment of the website. For designing we will use HTML to develop a structure of the
website. Bootstrap will be use to make website responsive. For making website attractive we
will use CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery. Database work like creating database, creating tables,
executing queries etc.

Getting data from HTML form with the help of php code and save into database. Retrieving
records from database and show in the html page. By making the use of Cake PHP framework
to separate our module view and controller part.

Limitation of the project

 It requires large database.

Conclusion

The proposed system was tested with sample data. The system results in regular timely
preparations of required output. In comparison with manual system benefits under a computer
system are considerable in the saving of man power working hours and effort. Provision for
addition , updation , deletion of customer in the system. The user gets amount and timely
information system.
