your company. I am writing this to offer my services for this job. I am a student of Petroleum
Engineering at University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. I am currently enrolled in 4 th
semester and will be graduating by the end of 2020.

I am applying for this job because my areas of interest matches with this particular job. I am
good at grasping the fundamental concepts of drilling engineering and implementing them for
economical and safe drilling and well control operations. Currently I am working on some minor
projects related to drilling like slim hole casing design and drilling fluid optimization. I have
been part of various societies at my universities and after taking part in many social and
adventurous activities I have mastered some skills like; leadership, teamwork commitment and
adaptability. I have used skills at different occasions in my life. Like I was the Vice President of
Society of Petroleum Engineers and due to teamwork and my leadership skills, our society
manage to win Outstanding Chapter Award for the tenure 2017-2018. During this tenure there
were several ups and downs but I never give up and adapted new ways to make our society best
among the best. These attributes give me an upper hand and make me stand out from rest of the
candidates.
