Conducted combat patrols in southern Baghdad Iraq. During the deployment I conducted a
wide range of missions. I planned, organized and conduct training for the Iraqi Police and
Army Forces. I assisted in civil projects such as schools, infrastructure improvements of
business and communities. I participated in joint combat operations with Iraqi Security
Forces. I patrolled high threat areas and conducted searches for weapons, bomb making
material, roadside bombs and IED’s (Improvised Explosive devices). I participated and
conducted intense training on counterinsurgency. I received training on HIVE Systems and
interrogation of expected insurgents including entering information in a data base and
recording photo information to keep on files and track potential insurgents. I am
knowledgeable and experience in the use of Blue Force Tracking (BFT) that is a U.S Military
command and control system. It is a situational awareness capability into products and
systems that identify and track "friendly forces," cutting through the fog of war to save lives.
Team Leader: Provide leadership mentoring and supervision to the Troops on your team.
Assist in the planning and execution of training and missions. Conduct all pre-combat checks
and inspections of Troop, vehicles and squad gear prior to missions. Ensure all team projects
and operations are tactical and to standard. Serve as liaison between team and supported
company or platoon. Maintain detailed training records of each solider. Ensure Solider adhere
to all orders concerning personal protective equipment and force protection.
Employ and supervise heavy equipment during all required missions and projects.
Conduct monthly counseling of subordinates. Maintain accountability of all squad gear
weapons and equipment assigned. Act as Squad Leader in his absence.

My missions all so included Route Clearance Patrols. Ensuring that road and routs were
clear. We were looking for unusual activities, things out of place and any insurgent activity.
Not excluding looking for roadside booms, IEDS and wired devices that might be a possible
threat to the safety to US and Coalition Force and the Local Nationals.
We also worked with (EOD) Explosive Ordnance Disposal by providing them security and
assisting them with location and securing the area.

My additional duties were a Customs Inspector Agent. I received and conducted training with
my team. I supervised a two man team and supervised units at a time through their inspection
process. I had to keep record and time and date of every unit that my team inspected and with
the type of seals and serial numbers of all con ex and containers that were inspected. I had to
enforce all rule and regulations that was set forth from Army Regulation and US Customs as
for as what want allowed to be ship back to the United Stated. These items included dirt,
bones, seeds, plants, fruits, and War Trophies. If anyone had any War Trophies ensuring they
had to correct and signed documents from there command. This is part of protection the
United State from inducing protecting the economy, the health and the safety of the American
people.

I provided direct support of Task Force Yuma, in border security. I performed administrative
duties such as answering telephone, create and modify documents using Microsoft office,
general clerical duties to include but not limit to: photo copying, faxing, mailing, and filling,
and other duties assigned. My duties were as Sergeant of the Guard (SOG). My duties were
to make sure all of the Entry Identification Teams were performing their duties in a military
fashion. Ensuring that they were in proper uniform. That they maintain all of their assign
equipment, and ensuring that they had food and water also made checks on their well being
and their medical needs were meet. Performed duties as vehicle maintenance and vehicle
prefabrication to include utilized precision tools and instruments such as dial indicator,
electronic test equipment, amp meters, volt meters and various tools, drills ,and grinders.
Adapted troubleshooting procedures, with comprehension of schematics and test
measurement diagnostic equipment, to identify faults, isolate to the location, replace
defective components and restore equipment to normal operation within standards.

While assigned as a Team Leader I played a vital role in Entry Identification Teams (EIT). I
implemented entry control procedures that was useful as deterrence and reduced illegal
entries in to the Arizona and California border into the United States. I provided clear and
concise communications to Border Patrols that was a direct impact on increasing
apprehensions. I participated in Operation Jump Start that required all service members to
use proven methods and techniques to achieve strong results while working with the
Army/Air National Guard and the Department of Home Land Security/US Border
Protection..

duties were to keep my team trained and informed on any activities that was going on in the
Facility. I trained my team member on how to effectively conduct cell extractions, Facility
shake downs. Conducted lots of training on using good Communication between the teams
when deployed for uses of force was going to be used. I also trained my team on using
effective talk down instead of take down. Crises Prevention Intervention (CPI) was a very
