Let us bow our heads and put
ourselves in the presence of God.
Dear Lord and Father of all,
Thank you for today.
Thank you for ways in which you
provide for us all. For Your
protection and love we thank you.
Help us to focus our hearts and
minds now on what we are about
to learn. Inspire us by Your Holy
Spirit as we listen and write.
Guide us by your eternal light as
we discover more about the world
around us. We ask all this in the
name of Jesus. Amen.
Before you will take your seats, I
want you to pick up all the pieces
of trash under your chairs and
make sure that your chairs are
arranged properly.
( students are picking the trash
under their chairs and they
aligned their chairs )
You may now take your seats!
( students are taking their seats)

our next topic, but before that, let
us have our activity first.

will give manila paper to each
group and you will write the

Let us give Sam a very good clap.
(Student 2)
The cake is big.

How about comparative?
The comparative form of the
adjective compares two
nouns.
Excellent!
Who can give me an example?
Earth is larger than mercury.
Shiela’s hair is shorter than
my hair.
Very good!
Ma’am, as what I have
observed most comparative
forms of the adjective are
formed by adding -er to the
positive form of the adjective.
You got it right! Yes that is true!
How about superlative?
The superlative form of the
adjective compares two or
more nouns.
Very good!
For example class, Jupiter is the
largest planet of all.
Yes Arj?
(students raising their
hands)
(Bryan)
Ma’am, some common
adjectives have irregular
comparative and superlative
forms. The table gives
examples of the positive,
comparative and superlative
forms of the adjectives.
Exactly!
Let us gave Bryan a round of applause!
Understand class?
Yes ma’am!
