CBE658: PROJECT

“PRESERVED FOOD FIESTA”

This is a group project (minimum 3 person, maximum 5 person in a group)


but there is also individual marks for reflective learning.

Each group has to prepare any type of preserved food (or any food items that
contain preserved ingredients) to be sold during 14 – 16 May 2018. There is no
specific instruction on where you have to sell those items, but here are some
suggestion: - From class to class, and lecturers’ room, Online, FKK Shop.

Record all capital/investment, expenditure and profit of the project, and report the
total sale and profit to me on 22nd May 2018 during a brief presentation in class.
GROUP MARKS – Presentation (50%)

Your individual assignment is:


1. Record all discussion/meeting in an online journal/diary, this includes whatever
you & your group do throughout the planning and selling of your food items;
during decision of what to sell, poster design, cooking or preparation of your
preserved food, the reflection of this project whether you like it or not, what
benefit you gain from the project, what skills have you grabbed from the project,
the impression you have on the team mates.

2. You can use website such as weebly.com or wix.com to create your own blog.
The content can be written in a casual way, doesn’t necessarily have to be in
official report kind of content. Just like you write a blog post. You can even make
promo/publicity to your food items you want to sell.

3. Make at least one post/video/poster on the food items you are selling. It can
include the ingredients used, type of preservation, why your group chose the
food items, etc.

4.Deadline for individual assignment & submission of the link is 21st June 2018.

Online Journal & Self Reflection (40%) & Creativity (10%)
