Time Starter Activity: (Group) Round Table
‘Round Table’ – Kagan’s Cooperative Structure
1. Teacher introduce the game ‘Word Chain’ and explain the rules
2. Each group will take turn to say the name of the animals according to
alphabetical order. They are given 1 minute to think of the answer.

Activity 1: Identify and Categorize the Adjectives (Whole class to group)

1. Teacher introduce the text about an animal.
2. Pupils identify the adjectives (descriptive word about animals) with guidance.
3. Each group will be given a text about another animal and identify the
adjectives.
4. Each group will fill in the table with suitable adjectives on the board.

Activity 2: Describing Animals (Individual)

1. Pupils describe the animals based on the words given. (Worksheet)
