A nnual losses due to Corrosion are about
75000 crore per annum in India. A major
share in this loss is due to corrosion in
Chemical and process industries, refineries
and petrochemical plants. Is chemical industry
is aware of systematic approach to fight
corrosion and make their plants safe without
loss of production and man days?

A two day knowledge based agenda has been

proposed in the Corrosion Technology Forum
to discuss various issues related to corrosion
control, mitigation and methodologies to
assess the damage due to corrosion. National
