Sereno Group Realtor Jason Noriega Honored by Santa Clara County

Los Gatos, CA, May 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Sereno Group proudly shares that Santa Clara County
Behavioral Health Board recently honored realtor Jason Noriega with a Volunteer Community Hero
award. Noriega received this honor for his service on the board of Momentum for Mental Health for over
eight years, including as its Chairman for three years. Momentum for Mental Health is the largest
nonprofit provider of mental health services in Santa Clara County and offers treatment for adults, teens,
and families experiencing serious mental illness. The Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Board
Volunteer Community Hero awards recognize individuals like Noriega for their hard work with programs
devoted to providing behavioral health services with empathy for those in need throughout Santa Clara
County.

While receiving his award, Noriega thanked his parents for teaching him about empathy and compassion.
Carrying those values forward into his work as well as his volunteerism, Noriega participates in Sereno
Group's 1% for Good program, which donates 1% of Sereno's gross commissions to charitable groups in
our local communities. Noriega applied for and received a grant of $20,000 from 1% for Good in support
of Momentum youths' college attendance.

In his acceptance speech, Noriega shared his hope that Santa Clara will be known as the “County that
Cares, that we help the addicts, the homeless, the mentally ill.” He continued to share his belief that “one
person can affect a few lives, but, together, we can affect our community.”

In addition to his service for Momentum, Noriega began the first-ever mental health support group for
Venture Christian Church, which has grown to include 20 professionals and volunteers in support of men,
women, and families. Noriega resides in Santa Clara County with his family.
