The Nation of Israel

Israel is to proof the existing of God, Israel exist because God exist!
Israel points us to God’s everlasting love and faithfulness! Israel points us
God is a relational God!
Israel was born in 14 May 1948
“who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a
country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? (Isa 66:8)
Eze 36:24 “For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all
countries and will bring you into your own land”
Deut 7:6 “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God
has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples
on the face of the earth.
Amos 3:2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth;
Zech 2: 8 God calls the Jewish people the “apple of His eye”

Why God chose them?

Gen 12:1-2 Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country,
From your family And from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And
you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him
who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Matt 15:24 He told the Canaanite woman, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the
house of Israel”
Matt 10: 5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go
into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go
rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel
God did not stray from His plan to bless the earth through Israel

Israel is intrinsically connected to the end time.
Paul said, “Israel’s salvation – the radical promise that “All Israel will be saved”
(Rom 11:25-26)
Rom 11: 11 Does this mean that God has rejected his Jewish people forever? Of
course not! His purpose was to make his salvation available to the Gentiles, and
then the Jews would be jealous and begin to want God’s salvation for
themselves. 12 Now if the whole world became rich as a result of God’s offer of
salvation, when the Jews stumbled over it and turned it down, think how much
greater a blessing the world will share in later on when the Jews, too, come to
Christ.

Jer 30:5 “For thus says the LORD: ‘We have heard a voice of trembling, Of fear,
and not of peace. 6 Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child?
So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And
all faces turned pale?

Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of Jacob’s
trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.

“That day” is actually a shadow of Jesus’ second coming.

Paul in 2 Thess 1:10 When (Jesus) comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints
and to be marveled at by all those who believe”
Israel points us to God’s covenant, points us to Jesus, points us to God has
everything in control, points us to God is a living God!

2 Sam 24: 18 And Gad came that day to David and said to him, “Go up, erect an
altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.” 21 Then
Araunah said, “Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” And David said,
“To buy the threshing floor from you, to build an altar to the LORD, that the
plague may be withdrawn from the people.”

Now Araunah said to David, “Let my lord the king take and offer up
whatever seems good to him. Look, here are oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing
implements and the yokes of the oxen for wood. 23 All these, O king, Araunah has
given to the king.”And Araunah said to the king, “May the LORD your God accept
you.”

Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price;
nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me
nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of
silver. 25 And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings
and peace offerings. So the LORDheeded the prayers for the land, and the plague
was withdrawn from Israel.

Pss 122: 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.
Rev 21: 2 Then I, John,[a] saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of
heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

MASADA –The nation’s last stand took place on a desert mountain fortress
called Masada.
Book of Ezekiel 37: 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the
Sovereign LORD says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you
up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.13 Then you, my people,
will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from
them
