The Hindu Society of Quest International University Perak in its endeavor to preserve the sense of
culture and religion amongst the present generation is proudly organizing an event aptly named
“Akshaya IV”, the name “Akshaya” meaning everlasting in the ancient Sanskrit language is a
manifestation of our commitment and our endeavor for the preservation of culture and religion from
being eroded by the test of time. The programme which has been held annually for the past four years
has been gradually gaining momentum in disseminating the above among students and the local
community. The event amongst other will include traditional games, talks and cultural events
participated by our students and from other universities, colleges and schools located in Perak. We
estimate the total attendee for the event to be in the excess of about 1000 people.

2. The event is expected to create general awareness, especially among university students, in
the preservation and in practicing the culture and traditions of Hinduism. It is also envisaged to play
an important role in fostering unity amongst students of different races and nationalities as the event
is based on the “1 Malaysia concept”.

3. On behalf of the QIUP Hindu Society, I would like to solicit your support for the success of
“Akshaya IV” and we would be honoured if you or your esteemed company/organization could
kindly co-sponsor the event. As a valuable co-sponsor, your company/organization will be advertised
in the programme booklet and a copy of it would be distributed to all attendees and
VIP present at the event. Excess funds from the contributions will be channeled to other charity
programmes organized by QIUP Hindu Society.
