Firstly, divorce may bring a harmful effect to academic performance. This is proven by some studies done recently which Kalpakgian (2015) points
out, children find it hard to concentrate on academic work with attention and dilligence because they experience a deep conflict that gives them a sense of
insecurity and instability. Without peace, harmony, and order in the home, student difficult in strunggle to give priority or importance to studies. The
depression, anger and fears of the parents are appeared upon the children. This situation just as sickness limits a students academic achievement. Thus,
normally child of divorce become disoriented and disorganized. They do not care about the homeworks, essays do not meet deadlines, missing work is
not completed and always late to the class. Finally, their performance in academic very bad. Besides, divorce may bring a harmful effect to academic
performance through loss of parental involvement in their academic and school. We can see clearly of parental involvement when the parent spend the
time with their children by asking their homework, assingment, and sharing the problem at school. This is proven by studies, parental involvement
includes also activities such as take part at school events, attending parent-teacher meetings and always keep contact teachers or schools officials. All
such invoivement directly effects children’s education outcomes ( De Lange and Dronkers, 2015). Parental involvement is very important to the
academic performance of their children because from that, their children will know how much their parents really care about their children’s education.
Besides, it can encourage their children to be more successfull in academic. While it is only natural for children to make their parent proud of them, thus
divorce can reduce their desire to to please and do their best. So, do not let the divorce ruins your children’s future. All parent must know how to take the
good action to handle their divorce event.

Next, divorce may bring a harmful effect to emotional development. It create some pychological problems. Children who have experienced their
parents divorce can contribute emotional and behavioural problem continuously ( Lee and Bax, 2000). During this parental conflict, it can create
psychological problems such as children feel regress and anxiety about their family life. The eager, fears, and anxities of the parents are visited upon to
the children. Lastly, the combination from that kind of feelings can cause depression. Besides, parent also often feel difficult and stress for preparing their
childrens reactions to a seperation and divorce. The outcomes for this situation can make their children more aggresive and sadness. We must understand
that during the divorce event, their children are extremely sensitive. Thus, children need to know that they are not guilty and responsible with what
happened to their parents. They are loved by both parents and their parents still can complete their needs and wants. Futhermore, divorce may bring a
harmful effect which it can create chronically distressed. There are clearly approved by some studies recently as Lorenz et al (2006) points out,
chronically ill or chronically distressed women may miss more work or be overlooked for promotions; they may have less energy to devote to their
families or to maintaining supportive relationships; and their own physical limitations may make them more susceptible to disabling injuries that further
undermine health. Finally, this single mother are less physically and emotionally able to guide and monitor their chidren. So, their children may involve
into behavioural problems such as smoking, sucking drugs and skipping the school. This behavioural problem occurs because their single mother are less
to give concentration to their chidren. For example, children may be more open to communication through books, workbooks, stories play and drawings.
From that, parents must realize to determine the actual expressions of their childrens. Thus, do not let our children to involve into the bad behavioural
problems that come from divorce of their parents. If this happened, the single mother will be double stress to handle their children.

Last but not least, divorce may bring a harmful effect to financial problem. We can see the divorce effect to financial problem through existing
differences in earning power. This were mentioned by studies, when a man and woman live together, his earning are shared more or less equally. After
divorce, however fathers are much less likely to share their earnings as equaliy. Finally, it dramatically reducing the resources available to mothers and
children even if the mother works ( Teachman and Paasch, 1994). Besides, single mother was forced to meet all the basic need of family. So, it can
ovrerall burden the single mother. Next, the mother and children often experience such as decline and often experience an increase in cost living
especially if one only considers income relatives to basic needs based on family size. In fact, compare to the father they less likely to experience a drop in
economic well-being after divorce. Moreover, divorce also can give financial trauma to the single mother. This is proven by some studies done recently
which Wall (2011) point out, each year nearly 2.8 millions men and women go through the emotional and financial trauma of divorce. During divorce,
many women are concerned about financial survival-and with good reason. Studies show that, in the first year after divorce, the wife’s standard of living
may drop almost 27 percent while the husband’s may increase by as much as 10 percent. Then after divorce also, many factors that contribute to lower
women’s standard of living after divorce. Child support may not be imcomplete to cover the true costs of child rearing, and she have lost many important
years of career growth, making it difficult for her to get back on her feet after divorce. Expenses will begin to mushroom as soon as the divorce process
starts. Thus, money generally used to support one household must now stretch to support two.
