The Problem

Introduction

Facebook is a social networking site that people use to connect and share with their

family and online friends. The increasing interest in using Facebook has heightened the need for

socializing and finding friends to make the people sustain their leisure time. Facebook is created

by Mark Zuckerberg when he was enrolled in Harvard University year 2004. Facebook are used

for posting status, it is a relatively conventional social-networking online environment, modeled

ostensibly on the US school ‘year books’ where brief written profiles of incoming students are

presented alongside a photograph. Facebook are the most convenient social media now a day for

having 1 billion users in the world.

Students Attitudes is one of the characteristics of the learner to know the physical view of

their personality. The development of Students Attitude is a persistent problem for the biggest

users of Facebook; it can be reflected on their studies because the level of exposure can be less

up to open a notebook or to review their lessons in school. The attitude will be tolerated in the

terms of more used in Facebook than to accommodate the important projects in their schools.

The Students Attitudes has become a favorite topic for analysis to find out what would be the

instance of being teenagers for using a technology or social media like Facebook. Students are

heavily immersed in Web 2.0 technologies.

Facebook Regulations is the mandatory of users and commentators to have a good intention to

use the Facebook. The possibility of Facebook Regulations has generated wide interest in the

Southpoint College of Arts and Technology to establish a good program on the social media on
how to use it normally, in this case more often studies about the Facebook Regulations that

declaring the Privacy of the users and commentators. Facebook Regulations it’s concentrated the

Facebook Platform Policy to initiating the output of the prospect and the commentators to the

Facebook. Using Facebook is controversial to have a privacy of the users just like the accounts

that the users have the username and the password. It’s only concentrated to the users to establish

or to post their features in life.

Based on the survey of the Facebook and Students Attitudes towards their Studies: Basis for

Facebook Regulations Program of the Southpoint College of Arts and Technology are indicating

the performance of the Students on how their level of exposure and attitude encompasses their

performance towards their studies. Thus, the school must guide the students and aware with the

used of Facebook.

This fact and ideas makes the researcher to conduct this study to find out on what are the

Facebook regulation program of Southpoint College of Arts and Technology regarding the use

Facebook and how students attitudes affect it towards their studies.
