Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

The Faculty's engineering programme shall produce Civil Engineers who are:

PEO1 Knowledgeable and technically competent in civil engineering discipline in-line with the industry
requirement.
Berpengetahuan dan berketrampilan teknikal dalam bidang kejuruteraan awam selaras dengan
kehendak industri.

PEO2 Effective in communication and demonstrate good leadership quality in an organization.


Berkomunikasi secara berkesan dan menunjukkan kualiti kepemimpinan yang balk di dalam sesebuah
organisasi.

PEO3 Capable to solve civil engineering problems innovatively, creatively and ethically through sustainable
approach.
Berkebolehan menyelesaikan masalah bidang kejuruteraan awam secara inovatif, kreatif dan beretika
melalui pendekatan yang mapan.

PEO4 Able to demonstrate entrepreneurship skills and recognize the need of life long learning for successful
career advancement.
Mampu menunjukkan kemahiran keusahawanan dan menyedari keperluan pembelajaran sepanjang
hayat untuk pembangunan kerjaya yang berjaya.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO)

At the end of this programme, students will be able to:

PLO1. Acquire and apply knowledge of sciences and engineering fundamentals to civil engineering field.
Memperoleh dan mengaplikasi pengetahuan sains dan asas kejuruteraan dalam bidang kejuruteraan
awam.

PLO2. Demonstrate comprehensive technical expertise in civil engineering.


Menunjukkan kepakaran teknikal yang menyeluruh dalam bidang kejuruteraan awam.

PLO3. Identify, formulate and provide creative, innovative and effective solution to civil engineering problems.
Mengenalpasti, memformulasi dan memberikan penyelesaian yang kreatif, inovatif dan efektif kepada
permasalahan bidang kejuruteraan awam.

PLO4. Communicate effectively both in written and spoken form with engineers, other professionals and
community.
Berkomunikasi secara berkesan dalam bentuk penulisan dan percakapan di antara para jurutera, ahli-
ahli profesional yang lain serta komuniti.

PLO5. Function individually or in teams, effectively, with a capability to be a leader.


Berfungsi dengan berkesan secara individu atau berkumpulan dengan keupayaan untuk menjadi
pemimpin.

PLO6. Understand and commit professionally, ethically and with humane responsibility, in line with the
engineer's code of conduct.
