KAPITAL

La marca de culto Kapital fundada en 1984 es difícil de precisar, pero tal vez se
acerque a una combinacion desconstruida del Oeste americano y la estética japonesa
de boro (tatty) chic. Casi ninguna prenda es igual; La mayoría son unisex. La tienda
en sí es como una instalación de arte.

En Tokio, el nombre de la tienda no se encuentra en ninguna parte, pero eso es

precisamente lo que le gusta a Kapital. Simplemente se identifica con un par de
herraduras clavadas a una puerta de madera resistida. Una segunda puerta está
abierta, invitando a los clientes a entrar.

La compañía a sido comparada con el director de cine Quentin Tarantino.

"La base de Tarantino - su pan y mantequilla - es la violencia", dice. El género de sus
películas cambia, pero el fundamento no. Lo mismo es cierto para Kapital: "El pan y
mantequilla de Kapital es el denim, básicamente. Tejido de sarga ".

Kapital tiene 13 tiendas, pero todas se encuentran en Japón y segun dicen no hay
deseo de abrir uno en otro lugar. Mientras que muchas tiendas en todo el mundo
siguen almacenando pequeñas colecciones de Kapital, la selección es muy limitada y
el precio suele ser doble.
