Yes, technology is advancing at a pace where this violence can destroy us all in a nuclear or
biological war. The greatest threat that human beings face is their own scientific and
technological advances. This goes from nuclear weapons, to genetically generated viruses,
artificial intelligence and other technology that is creating an ecological problem (which
seems to be irreversible).
The end of humanity could be due to advances in technology, specifically the development
of powerful artificial intelligences (AI).
If there can be a solution, everything depends on the use that is given and the awareness of
the users towards the manipulation of the technology.

I believe that humanity destroys many things looking to be more productive, or just
constantly thinking about the money, likewise we cut down forests to make houses, we kill
animals in excess to eat or use their parts until they are extinct, certainly the human by its
exaggerated consumerism is called as the plague of the planet; however, there are many
things that can obviously be done remedying the existing damage, among the things that
can be done are: protection of swamps, rivers and forests, take care of the species in
extinction and rehabilitate their species in remote places to increase their number; properly
recycle our garbage for the reuse of materials such as plastic, cardboard, paper, etc…and
the most important and difficult to achieve, to make humanity aware of only using what is
necessary without wasting water, energy and food.
Humanity is already advancing a lot in technology as it is the non-use of fossil fuels and the
use of clean and renewable energies, i personally believe that the key is that governments
invest less money in war and more money in science, research, technology and health and
only then will it improve on what we so much depend on, our beloved planet earth.

Technology improves productivity by automating and accelerating processes every day, we
can access information more frequently, this facilitates us to analyze and process
information quickly, allowing perfect quality processes in the workplace, on the other hand
it has revolutionized the field of health and science its advance has allowed to know
infinities of processes that explain the appearance of strange diseases in human beings, also
through the development of computer networks the trend of telemedicine grows, which
allows doctors to connect with their patients in online mode, technology always facilitates
communication and exchange of information, in relation to the environment in its positive
aspect is used for sustainable purposes that promote renewable energy and facilitating the
use of transport and infrastructure less polluting, but the technology also has negative
aspects When we do not know how to control it, like health problems derived from the
abuse of technological devices, shortening memory and mental exercise, in many cases
there is inadequate management of technological tools. Technology greatly affects the
environment, all these problems they are given because people are incapable of predicting
or evaluating the possible negative consequences of technological development.
Nowadays technology has had an impact that has positively and negatively affected society,
but it is something indispensable for all. Technology facilitates access to different forms of
communication, since its existence the human being has struggled to innovate and
transform in order to change their environment to meet the needs of humans and thus
significantly improve the quality of life of many people, with it we have ease of
communication with different people in real time, with the various existing applications
allow us interaction in any part of the world in an easy, practical and above all very
economical, another positive aspect that is has is the access to information, the
technological advance it has had and the revolution of the internet that is a medium that
helps us acquire texts with original content, without a doubt technology has put to test the
creativity and inspiration of man where daily create new inventions of devices and devices
that help improve the quality of life of the population, grace since the needs have invented
tools that have improved in fundamental aspects such as health, education, industry and
commerce, in relation to medicine there have been significant discoveries and the cure of
many diseases has been obtained, with significant advances, with the artificial intelligence
that has helped in the diagnosis of diseases in short times, in the field of industry and
commerce, the implementation of technological tools to optimized processes, which has led
to production economically, reducing costs which entails to have more business
relationships, education is another area that has benefited because of technology, having a
wide access to information learning and teaching models have changed eloquently, teachers
and researchers have developed new pedagogical methods that are based on the advantages

offered by electronic devices to which nowadays we have access, the emergence of social
networks has been very beneficial since with this the connection between people is fostered
in a faster and more direct way, it has also become the space to generate interaction
between friends, even between businessmen and clients.
Among the negative aspects of the use of technology is environmental pollution, the
globalization that humanity has had has brought great advantages such as the optimization
of production, but because of this we have increased pollution and abuse of resources
natural, to reduce this impact and reduce the risks to which the land is subject is to finish
non-renewable energies and these be replaced by renewable energies, being one of the most
important aspects to avoid the advance to pollution, another negative aspect that has been
presented in humanity is the dependency and the disorders that have been presented
because of the incorporation of electronic devices, sociologists and psychologists have
manifested the change in some behaviors in people, due to the dependency that is being
generated caused by computers, smartphones and tablets, this situation has generated
disturbances such as cyber. In addition, there are unfavorable physical conditions that have
risen thanks to the excessive use of technology.

While technology brings enormous benefits, users must think and recognize the limits of
this tool. Sometimes out of carelessness, carelessness or too much trust the risks that this
includes are ignored.
In some areas it is possible that technological advances favor companies by generating
greater efficiency in carrying out their processes, but at the same time they can be
unfavorable for workers, who may lose their jobs, artificial intelligence and robots millions
of jobs will be eliminated and finally there will be a weakening of some skills, since there
are very useful tools that allow to save time and generate much more optimal results, but in
some cases these instruments can contribute to not promote creativity and knowledge ,
especially among young people, for example, a calculator is very useful, but when it is used
to perform simple operations that can be done without the use of any tool, it is favoring
mental laziness, which can result in damage to the learning.

Currently the human being is linked to technology because everyday life depends on it to
perform multiple things and we do not imagine in a life without it, but in a way we must
say that technology has its positive aspects as negative. Therefore, the technology used in a
positive way has allowed us to improve our quality of life and meet the needs that arise
throughout our lives as in the field of health, telecommunications and education; as for
example in the health the biotechnology has allowed the manufacture of antibiotics to fight
diseases, it has also made it possible to create artificial organs which can replace natural
organs by shortening the waiting time needed to obtain a donor and thus save many lives,
which sounds really wonderful. On the other hand, technology has also made

communication possible over long distances and we can interact with other people in real
time. Finally, it has allowed us to have a high-quality and enriching education because it is
possible to access innumerable information and encourage people to be researchers and at
the same time that technology is innovating more and more.
In contrast, the technology used negatively is causing us serious changes in environmental
and social issues because we are experiencing a strong climate change due to the use of
components that the planet can not regenerate, and in turn technology is creating a
narcissistic society that only cares about itself and has entered a virtual world leaving aside
what is real as it is to share with family, friends, plus many things invented are used to do
evil, to generate wars to hurt our neighbor and in a way to hurt ourselves. The technology is
growing in an exorbitant way, the human being is increasingly challenging his biological
origin is not satisfied with what he has done so far, looking how to make a machine think
for itself or resemble the human being and according to Stephen Hawking "The
development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race" and in a
way is right because if there is something that exceeds us in intelligence we could not
compete with this since we have a slow biological evolution.
