RESUMO
The stage of production of clonal seedlings at the forest nursery is the most prone to
the presence of phytopathological diseases, which cause damages that affect the
efficiency of the production of seedlings and their performance in the field. There are
different methods of control these harmful agents, which may come from chemical,
biological or natural bases. The objective of this study is to evaluate the influence of
different control methods for the prevention of phytopathological diseases and root
development in the greenhouse in E. urophylla x E. globulus and E. benthamii. The
experiment was conducted in the forest nursery of the company CMPC Celulose
Riograndense located in Barra do Ribeiro / RS. Two clones were used in the research,
one of E. uroglobulus and E. benthamii. Each clone received four treatments: (1)
Potassium Silicate (0.5%); (2) Trichordema sp. (0.5%); (3) Neem Oil (1%); and (4) the
control treatment, Strobilurin and Triazole (1%). Four chanels were used for each
clone, totaling eight chanels. Each treatment was applied in one chanel per clone with
biweekly periodicity. The stakes collected, went home rooting. The evaluations were
carried out in two stages, the first fortnightly in the clonal mini-clonal hedge, to follow
the sanity of the strains and the second in the greenhouse, observing the sanity of the
strains and the presence of roots. The non-parametric analysis for disease data and t-
test (0.05) for rooting at the 21st day and 28th day after application. The results showed
for the two clones that the T3 obtained the results less favorable to the rooting effect.
T4 had expected results, being the usual treatment, but T1 and T2 promising results
in combating diseases and rooting. Based on the study we suggest testing with
different dosages of T1 and T2, testing with greenhouse applications and also
evaluation of the cleaning operation, searching for the recovery of seedlings with initial
pictures of diseases, which are often discarded.
