NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from qualified persons for the empanelment of Guest Faculty to
teach law/below mentioned interdisciplanry subjects on hourly basis in the School of Excellence in
Law, the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University:

AGE LIMIT Shall not exceed 65 years

QUALIFICATIONS:
LAW Applicant shall posses 55% of marks in Master’s Degree in Law
(Regular 2 Year Programme) and he/she has enrolled as an Advocate
in Bar Council. Private Study/Distance Education/One Year
Programme is not eligible. Retired Law Teachers may also apply.
INTERDISCIPLINARY Applicant shall posses 55% of marks in the respective
SUBJECTS interdisciplinary subject’s Master’s Degree. Private Study/Distance
Education/Open Study is not eligible. Retired Collegiate Faculty
Members may also eligible.
PREFERENCE Applicant posses NET/SLET/Ph.D. and past teaching experience will
be given preference.
HONORARIUM Maximum Limit – Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only)
per month (inclusive T.A.). Guest Faculty member is expected to take
minimum 40 hours per month either in Forenoon or Afternoon
Session.

The duly filled in applications with relevant enclosures alongwith the processing fees of
Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) in case of SC/ST, Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty
only) by way of Demand Draft in favour of “The Registrar, the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law
University” payable at Chennai should be submitted in person or sent by post addressed to the
Registrar, the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, “Poompozhil”, No.5, Dr.D.G.S.Dhinakaran
Salai, Chennai – 600 028.

Last date for receipt of filled in applications is 31.05.2018

Note: The decision to empanel or not to empanel the Guest Faculty rests with the University.
