To Whom It May Concern:

It is with confidence that I write this letter in support of Lyndsey Campana’s pursuit of a
leadership position in your school district. As a former Staff Developer in a regional k-12
district, I have had a chance to work alongside hundreds of educators in multiple grade bands.
This work includes professional development sessions, classroom observations, and content
area leadership teams. Ms. Campana repeatedly stands out as a leader in all of these areas;
her command of science content, enthusiasm, and commitment have been noted by multiple
administrators throughout our regional district.

Ms. Campana consistently makes valuable contributions to our K-12 science leadership team,
whose overarching focus is assessment, improvement of instructional practices, and curricula
development. This professional learning takes place both in and out of the classroom; Ms
Campana is an integral part of all elements of this professional collaboration. As an
administrative team, we have come to rely on Ms Campana’s strong knowledge of both content
and pedagogy as we transition to the New Student Learning Standards for Science (NGSS).
Though not always easy, Lyndsey reminds us of our professional responsibility to make choices
that are in the best interest of our students.

It is without reservation that I support Ms Campana’s leadership in your district. Though I am

disappointed at the thought of her leaving, I support her pursuit of additional opportunities and
challenges. She will be an asset to any professional team and school community .

Sincerely,

Amy D’Ambola
