 1. Title:-

To develop an open source operating system independent Sharing Tool

(Open Source Sharing Tool)

2. Introduction: -

This software will access files from windows to debian based

system.This will work upon IP address of any windows system which is
connected with same LAN.Basically this software will contain full
authorization (access)of windows system in which files can be read as
well as write. So with the help of this software communication between
Debian based system to windows system can easily do.

3. Objectives:-

Main objective of this software is to interact between windows based

system and debian based system. In which files of one system can be
easily access by another system through LAN. Yet software called
samba exist for sharing of files between these systems. But problem is
that there is a lot of files are required to sharing which is downloaded
from internet which is expensive. In this software libraries are
predefined. This software does not require internet instead of the system
should be connected through same LAN network.

4.1 Software: - Netbeans with JRE

4.2 Platform Used: -JDK (1.8)

4.3 Hardware used: - Dual-core Intel Processor, 1 GB RAMS, 50

GB Hard Drive,

6. Future Scope:-

We will add various modules to this software for viz. chatting between
Windows system to Debian based system and vice versa sharing of
files, multiple Operating system independent file access, Through
WAN files sharing .
