MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This agreement, made and executed by and between Eastern Luzon Colleges, with the principal
address at Magsaysay Hill, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, represented by the President, Rev. Anita O.
Gomaya herein referred to as the First Party.

And

The Basic Education Schools with the principal address at __________________________,

represented by the School Principal, _________________________________ herein referred to as the
Second Party.

Witnessed

WHEREAS, both parties have mutual and peculiar needs beneficial to each other and with a
common felt need to improve the quality of Basic Education in the Philippines.

WHEREAS, Eastern Luzon Colleges is a higher learning institution, offering Teacher Education
Programs and desirous of producing ideal Filipino teachers as characterized in the National Competency
Based Teacher Standards and in the Teacher Education Curriculum.

WHEREAS, the Basic Education Schools are stakeholders in the development of future teachers
and provide Teacher Institutions an authentic environment to implement teacher education curriculum.

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the following premises herein set forth, the parties
have agreed on the following:

1. That the First Party through the Eastern Luzon Colleges shall:
a. fulfill the roles stipulated in the Joint Memorandum Order re: Guidelines on the
Deployment of Student Teachers;
b. coordinate with the school principal/school head before the student teachers enter the
school and community;
c. assist in developing the administrators and teachers of the cooperating schools through
enrollment in the computer-related programs with 20% discount, attendance to seminars
and trainings conducted by the First Party, and share academic expertise of the faculty; and
d. pay Related Learning Experience (RLE) fee of P500.00 each Student Teacher during their
student teaching which shall be distributed as follows (as per CHED and DepEd Region II
MOA):

BEEd BSEd
5% for the District Supervisor 5% for the Principal
15% for the Principal 15% for the Area Coordinator
80% for the Cooperating Teacher 80% for the Cooperating Teacher

2. That the Second Party through the Basic Education Schools shall:
a. carry out the provision of the Joint Memorandum Order re: Guidelines on the Deployment
of Student Teachers;
b. provide the necessary complement to secure the safety of student teachers during their stay
in the Basic Education Schools;
c. allow student teachers the access to information regarding the school and community;
d. provide the student teachers with the best mentors to enhance their experience in
preparation for teaching for life;
e. allow the faculty and cooperating teachers of the Teacher Education Institution the access
to information regarding the school and community for research; and
f. submit performance evaluation reports of student teachers.
 This AGREEMENT shall take effect upon signing by all parties concerned and shall remain in
force unless sooner terminated by mutual consent.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands this 9th day of January 2013at
Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines.
