As a blessed school, we share this grace with those who are less fortunate. Not only do we give the boys of St
Theresa’s academic assistance for the older boys, but also a sense of fun with the younger boys.
On a personal level, St Theresa’s Boys’ Home, has undoubtedly left a happiness that I will unlikely never
forget. It has been an honour to be of service to these wonderful boys. In teaching them, they have taught me
humility and a way to be happy in simplicity. The people in the Outreach Program are to be commended for
their great contribution to the lives of all
the boys. We, as a Catholic School, have
truly made a difference. Mrs S Batho,
the teacher in charge of the St Theresa’s
Outreach, should be well praised for her
commitment to this outreach program.
Without her, the program would not
have made as big a difference as it has
already made. I applaud Mrs Batho for
upholding a true Marist characteristic of
love of work.
