manufacturing facilities

To guarantee the highest quality assurance levels and

on-time delivery, virtually every component of each
ARGUS valve is produced in-house.   The ARGUS
manufacturing facility is ISO 9001 accredited, and is
equipped to perform all NDE testing, including Ultrasonic
and Radiographic.
ARGULOY, an outstanding hard-coating process

The demands placed on metallic sealing systems can be optimally met by means of
modern coating technology. ARGUS proprietary Flame & Fuse ARGULOY coatings
achieving Rockwell 67 hardness, are applied in our in-house computer controlled coat-
ing facility. Contrary to other coating processes, ARGULOY is not an overlay coating
but a coating bonded metallically to the base material. ARGULOY is flame-sprayed
and thermal after-treated. By choosing between nickel-based and cobalt-based
ARGULOY coatings, the hard coating can be precisely matched to the given
application.

ARGUS ball valves include many innovative

design features including the highest standards in
valve technology API-6D, ANSI 16.34 and
BS 2351 requirements.

2-piece or 3-piece split body design with superfine

finished trunnion mounted ball, anti-blowout stem,
spring loaded ball seats, cavity relief and anti-static
device. Long life double stem seal system and
stem supported by bearings to ensure seals are
free from operating loads. Stem sealing complies
with latest ISO 15848-1, EPA and TA-Luft Fugitive
Emissions requirements.
Firesafe to API 607 and BS 6755.
DIN/ISO 5211 mounting plate for actuators.
Full Port, Reduced Port as an option.

The unique ARGUS design permits a perfectly aligned actuator shaft,

bracket and coupling with the benefit of no side-load effect on the valve
stem from misalignment.
The result is extended service life of the valve stem seals.
Long lifetime and low operating torque due to the clear separation of
the sealing and bearing functions on both ball and stem.
