Suggested Hook:
One crochet hook size I-9 US, (Metric size 5.50 mm)

TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE!

Gauge or Tension: 13 sc and 15 rows to 4" [10 cm] measured over single crochet using suggested hook or
any size hook which will give the correct stitch gauge or tension.
Hand wash in cool water. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture, then lay flat to dry.

Cuff: Using Color A, ch 42.
Row 1: (right side) Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in
each ch to end - 41 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc in each sc to end, ch 1, turn.
Repeat Row 2 until work measures 31/2" [9 cm] from
beg, ending after a wrong side row and joining MC
at end of last row.
Leg: Using MC, sc in back loop of each sc to end,
ch 1, turn.
Repeat Row 2 until work measures 13" [33 cm] from
beg, ending after a wrong side row. Fasten off.
Heel: With right side of work facing, skip first 30 sc,
join Color A with sl st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc,
sc in each of last 10 sc;
Bring other side of leg around and sc in each of first
10 sc, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc in each of first 14 sc, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc in each of first 7 sc, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc in each of next 7 sc, sc in next sc of
long row below - 8 sts, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc in each of next 8 sc, sc in next sc of
long row below - 9 sts, ch 1, turn.
Repeat last 2 rows until all 21 sc of Heel have been
worked. Fasten off.
Foot: With RS of work facing, skip first 10 sc of
Heel, join MC with sl st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same
sc, sc in each of next 10 sc of Heel, skip next 2 sc
of Leg, sc in each of next 16 sc, skip next 2 sc of
Leg, sc in next 10 sc of Heel, ch 1, turn - 37 sts.
Work 1 row even in sc, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc in each of first 10 sc, draw up a loop
in each of next 2 sts, yo and draw through all 3
loops on hook - sc2tog made, sc in each of next 13
sc, sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in each of last 10 sc -
35 sts, ch 1, turn.
Work 1 row even in sc, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc in first 10 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sts,
sc in each of next 11 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc
in each of last 10 sc - 33 sts, ch 1, turn.
Work 11 rows even in sc changing to Color A in last
sc worked.
Toe:
Next Row: Sc in each sc to end of row, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in each of

turn.
Next Row: Sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in each sc
across to last 2 sts, sc2tog over last 2 sts, ch 1, turn;
Repeat last row until 3 sts rem, omitting ch 1 in last
row. Fasten off.
With wrong side of work facing, join Color A with sl
st in next sc of last long row, ch 1, sc in same sc, sc
in each sc to last 2 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sts - 15
sts, ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in each sc
across to last 2 sts, sc2tog over last 2 sts, ch 1, turn;
Repeat last row until 3 sts rem, omitting ch 1 in last
row. Fasten off.
To Complete: Sew Cuff and Leg back seams. Sew
Foot and Toe seams. Sew corners of Heel closed.
Hanger: Join Color A with sl st at back seam of
Cuff, ch 15, sl st in first sl st. Fasten off.
