Dear book club,

I am reading Artemis Fowl the Eternity Code. this book is

written by Eoin Colfer. In this book Artemis is the dynamic character.

Some static characters in this book are Butler, and Holly. Butler is

Artemis Fowl’s bodyguard who accompanies him everywhere. Holly

is a fairy police force (LEP) captain, who has been caused more

trouble by Artemis’s hand, than her size.

Two quotes that I have to support Artemis being a smart 13

year old genius and a child mastermind are, page 36, paragraph 1-2,

lines 1-3 John spiro the antagonist states “I put 200 million dollars

into your department and you can not crack a code written by a 13

year old kid.” this quote shows me that Artemis is a genius. My next
quote is from foaly a technical consultant in the LEP on page 78,

paragraph 2, lines 8 - 10, the text states “Artemis knew he was a

mastermind of dastardly deeds.” this shows me that Artemis is a

mastermind of a child who has been involved in minor crimes

before.

All of the above stated reasons show me that Artemis and

Butler are a unstoppable duo who even entrepreneurs can not foil.

Dear book club,

I am reading Artemis Fowl the Eternity Code. this book is

written by Eoin Colfer. In this book Artemis is the dynamic character.

Some static characters in this book are Butler, and Holly. Butler is

Artemis Fowl’s bodyguard who accompanies him everywhere. In this

book the great and fantastic writing exaggerates the characters

abilities thus blurring the fine line between real and fake.

Two examples of figurative language, vivid verbs, powerful

adjectives and exact nouns are on page 110, line 3rd from the bottom

the text states, “Her black suited lustrous elegance burst through the
door.” this line shows two things, one being that the mob mulch

works for is not conservative yet extravagant two the author uses

really good descriptors. The second quote i have is on page 113 lines

1-2 the text states, “I don't know exact inches but any shorter and I

would be changing his diaper and stuffing him in a stroller.” This

example shows figurative language and shows me that the boss of

Loafers mcguire, Mulch’s boss is rude and humorfull, this golden line

helped me understand the text a lot better by describing Mulch’s

true height (48 inches). The last line that helped me understand the

text is on page 131 line 2, the text states “It wasnt that he was a bad

fairy it was that he did not want to die at the hands of loafers.” this

helped me figure out that Mulch is afraid of Loafers because he is

extremely dangerous. Thank you for reading

book the great and fantastic writing exaggerates the characters

abilities thus blurring the fine line between real and fake.
 For my first example of rising action early in my book is on:

page 75, paragraph 2, lines 1-8, Foaly a tech advisor says “in a bit

closer. 6 inches approximately. A two second burst.” this line shows

me suspense and worry in the story because the reader does not

have a clue if butler will be healed from the bullet that John Spiros

bodyguard Arno Blunt shot at him.

For second example of rising action I chose the best example i

could on page 108, Paragraph 2, line 3, the medical warlock says

“that was the easy bit now you have to get in there and hold his head

steady or else the head will be hurt permanently.” this line show me

mystery because the reader does not know if butler will be hurt

forever or if he will live.

In conclusion i have found the Eoin Colfer uses many tactics to

keep the reader enthralled in the book. This book has been fun to
read and i hope it will stay like that until the end of book club. Thank

Dear book club,

I am reading Artemis Fowl the Eternity Code. this book is

written by Eoin Colfer. In this book Artemis is the dynamic character.

Some static characters in this book are Butler, and Holly. The climax

in my book is when Artemis, Holly, Butler, and Spiros men are

raiding the lab that spiro owns to retrieve the c cube. This part of the

book is extremely suspenseful and was hard to put down.

 The falling action in my opinion was when they raided the

Phonetix lab with John Spiro because he wanted to test the c cube.

One of the themes I found was good prevails over evil. I say this

because on page 207, lines 3-4, paragraph 1, spiro says “you beat me

Artemis go home, and i won't bug again” this is the falling action

because everyone is going home and stuff is winding down. The

resolution in my opionion is when Artemis flew back to ireland with

Spiro and his men behind bars
