Elizabeth Saksefski Talent Acquisition Specialist EAGLE College Prep 20935 Swenson Dr Suite 101 Waukesha, Wisconsin 53186
Dear Ms. Saksefski:
I am very interested in applying for the fourth-grade teacher position at your lovely establishment. From what I’ve researched, EAGLE College Preparatory Schools are focused on world-class education that is affordable and accessible for all children. I have experience that would make me great for this position. For example, I grew up in the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson and as soon as I was old enough, I start volunteering within my clubhouse to help tutor children and check on their emotional stability. I know that some children can grow up in harsh conditions that can negatively affect their education because of bad home situations or a lack of parental guidance, so it is my goal to inspire all children and keep them focused on their educations because knowledge is power. After reading the job description for this amazing position, I feel I match many of the qualifications needed for this position. For the past two years, I have attended Arizona State University, striving to receive a B.A.E. in Elementary Education with a focus on STEM characteristics. I believe I match this position not only because of my future degree, but because of my outstanding work ethic and ongoing passion to make a difference and inspire the future leaders of our world. Because I will only be a junior in the fall, I lack some teaching skills and hands-on learning, but what I lack in these skills, I more than make up for in determination and people skills. I’ve worked with children all my life, so I have a pretty good grasp on how to handle situations or how to work with certain children, so I still think I would be great for the position. Starting next semester, I will begin student teaching and I’m so excited to have experience in the classroom before I even graduate. I think this makes me unique to many of the applicants because before I graduate, I will have two years of teaching experience under my belt. I am also always open to feedback because I believe that I am constantly learning new things from the positions I’m in or the opportunities I’m given. My goal is to be an intelligent, hardworking and determined teacher and I will use my passion for teaching and my overall experience with kids to make a difference in this world and hopefully teach my children how they can contribute to this world. I also hope to contribute to my new community and the overall school district to make a difference. I hope to hear back from you and as previously mentioned, if you need to reach me, please call (520) 328-9962 or email me at alexandriamoye@gmail.com. I would love to come in for an interview or speak more about the position. Sincerely, Alexandria Moye
