A. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

 Overall business planning, growth and profitability.


 Basic policy matters, technology selection, project approval etc.
 Co-ordinate between all the department activities for decision making & smooth running of
the overall operations
 Liaise with Yazaki Group on policies and technical support.
 Periodically review effective functioning of Quality & Environmental Management Systems
and overall Business process
 Nominate Management Representative(s) in line with QMS / EMS requirements, Customer
representative(s) & Project/Team leader and Multi disciplinary team for new projects and
review for the timely completion of the projects in line with customer requirements

B. HEAD – Operations

 Resource planning.
 Ensuring appropriate facilities and adequate resources for all operations.
 Timely manufacturing of products as agreed with marketing.
 Meeting Quality Standards.
 Appropriate facilities for all operations.
 Technology updating and know-how transfer.
 Identifying and monitoring Continual Improvement and productivity improvement projects.
 Conduct production review meetings of the plants.

C. Head-Sales

 Business growth and profitability.


 Contract review.
 Prompt processing of quotations.
 Acquisition and efficient execution of orders.
 Quality of sales & service to Customers & evaluation of Customer satisfaction.

D. Head- Finance

 Ensure effective control on all commercial activities and reporting to Managing Director.
 Finance & Cost accounting.
 Product costing and calculations for making quotations to Customers.
 Annual budget and monitoring performance.
 Statutory audit and Compliance with statutory regulations.
 Cost reduction and cost of quality.
 Investment planning and control.
 Conducting perpetual inventory.
 Working capital planning and control.

E. Head-Production

 Allocation of jobs/deployment of manpower as per the production targets.

F. Head-Manufacturing Engineering

 Optimizing the utilization of resources.


 Upgrading and improving of workplaces to achieve higher productivity.
 Capacity / Manpower planning in line with customer demand
 Planning, Procuring & Installation of tools, jigs/fixtures & machinery requirements for both
current & new projects
 Various layouts. i.e., machine layout, workplace layout, office layouts and implementation.
 Optimisation of 4M transition inline to the project targets and meeting customer demand
 Preparation and review of process FMEA’s, Process validation’s, Cp/Cpk studies, Work
Instructions
 Interface costing department to provide required manufacturing process details & their cycle
time to arrive product costs

G. Head- Supply Chain Management

 To plan & organize the material requirements as per the production targets/requirements of
customers.
 Purchasing activity including Vendor development for new part development
 Periodical review of material requirements and maintain required inventory level to avoid line
stoppages and to maintain targeted inventory turns.
 Review & negotiate part prices according to the market fluctuations and business
opportunities.

 Review & improve supplier performance rating in case of supply & quality issues.
 Benchmarking and selection of right service provider in line with other Yazaki affiliates with
competitive prices and avoid premium freights.

H. Head-Quality Management

 Quality planning to ensure adherence to the product specification at incoming, in-process


and final inspections by monitoring, controlling and improving the processes.
 Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product,
process and Quality System and Control further processing, delivery or installation of
nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
 Authorized to stop production if necessary to correct quality problems arising out of in house,
supplier and customer quality problems.
 Identify the need and assist in implementing statistical techniques, Failure analysis &
participate in implementing Corrective & Preventive actions.
 Participation in Vendor development activity for sourcing of components and materials.
 Organize and ensure calibration of test and measuring equipment. Maintain Statistics of
quality related information & initiate corrective action.
 Handling Customer complaints review and verify the implementation of solutions.
 Acts as a champion for quality related issues and ensure Product safety and give instruction
for Rework.
 Ensure that Production across all shifts are staffed with personnel in-charge of ensuring
product Quality and authorized to stop production to correct Quality problems.
 Measurement and control of cost of poor quality.
 Plan & organize periodical process audit for all local suppliers and continually improve
supplier quality performance.
 Interface customer closely with necessary manpower & technical support inline to the agreed
commitments.
 Review Q1 performance monthly and report to the management.

I. Head-Maintenance

 Plan and undertake periodical preventive maintenance of building, installations, plant,


machines, material handling equipment, utilities, etc.
 Regular and breakdown maintenance.
 Spares part management.
 Maintenance of tools, applicators and equipments.
 Predictive maintenance.
 Service such as power, pneumatic grid & telecommunication.
 Environment: Compliance with internal & external regulations.
 Layout implementation & maintenance of all electrical inline to the installed manufacturing
lines as per statutory and regulatory requirements.

J. Head-HR & ADMIN (HR & A)

 Human Resource Development and preparation of competency matrix


 Industrial relations.
 Recruitment and Personnel administration.
 Safety and environment.
 Security.
 Liaison with Government authorities and ensure compliance with regard to requirements of
labour law, factories act and pollution control board.
 House keeping
 Welfare and motivation
 Interface training department in transformation of all new recruitments to the required
training during induction stage.

K. Management Representative

 Maintain and implement the comprehensive quality system as per the requirements of TS
16949:2009 Standard.
 Represent the organization for quality system when dealing with outside firms, authorities
and agencies.
 Release of Quality Manual and Quality Procedures after ascertaining adherence to ISO
Standards, TS Quality System requirements.
 Update and maintain controlled copy of Quality Procedure.
 Plan, organize and participate in internal and external Quality audits as per requirements.
 Oversee the corrective actions of audit points.
 Organize Management review. Report the performance of the quality system as a basis for
improvement of quality system.
 Maintain the records of Management review.
 Ensure promotion of awareness of customer requirements among all employees

l. Head-Training

 Identify training needs with HOD’s and prepare Training calendar for all the staff members
 Organize training and achieve training targets for all employees
 Evaluate effectiveness of training based on the performance results
 Establish & display skill matrix of all workmen in the GEMBA for easy movement of workmen
to meet the shortage & absenteeism
 Record and administration of training.

M. Customer Representative

 Address Customer requirements including:


 Selection of Special characteristics.
 Setting quality objectives and related training.
 Monitor Corrective and preventive actions.
 Coordinate Product design and development.
 Notify Ford STA within 10 working days of any changes to senior Management responsible
for Quality or Company ownership.
 Update the Management representative with the latest or new Customer specific
requirements.

N. Head-Engineering

 Product design and development.


 Design review, verification and validation of product.
 Design change management & implement changes inline to the customer requirements
 Bench marking
 Interface Vendor development for sourcing of components and materials.

O. Head-Stores

 To look after raw material and stores activities across all the plants
 Issue of materials according to the FIFO & report inventory level periodically
 Maintain and monitor minimum safety stock in store and operate the stock at economical
level.
 To ensure proper storage arrangement to avoid damages to raw material.
 Distribution of raw materials & parts from main stores to branch factories based on the
material requirement and maintain required stock level to avoid line stoppages.

P. Head-Production Planning

 Receive customer schedule, Plan daily, weekly and monthly production requirement.
 Distribute customer schedule & the production plan to all functional departments
 Addressing the PDC requirement from customer
 Issuing Work order sheets to Production according to the production plan and Monitoring the
achieved production against the plan.
 Reviewing weekly & monthly plant operations performance with the management
 Review & confirm weekly customer schedules to ensure smooth dispatches

Q. Head - CSC

 Fulfilling the daily dispatch requirements in line to customer schedules and ensure no
customer line stoppages.
 Measure, monitor & maintain 5S performance and warehouse quality by adopting necessary
labeling systems, packaging and daily reviews.
 Review Monthly production figures, FG stock at Warehouse, Delivery performance and report
to the management.
 Adopt FIFO strategy to ensure first in first out of FG parts to customer there by
avoiding stocking of old level harnesses and creating NC products which cannot
be accepted by customer.

R. Head - Quality Systems

 Maintain, update & implement Robust Quality Management system inline to ISO/TS 16949:
2009 and ISO 14001:2004, evaluate adequacy of all organizational processes that are
meeting required environmental regulations.
 Monitor and control all system related documents inline to organizational changes and
communicate appropriately to all the stake holders.
 Enforce continual improvement activities to achieve the best performance from all process.
 Interface all functional departments to reduce risk of Quality concerns by applying necessary
process controls, Best practices ,MUDA reduction ,enforcing best material handling practices
and 5S management etc
 Coordinate & establish robust material handling process and effective utilization of 4M to
reduce wastes and improve plant performance.
 Establish periodical 5S audit and report management for improvements
 Contribute to employee motivation and satisfaction

S. Head- IT

 Routine management of Server & Network operations.


 Periodical checking & maintenance of server, Database and network, hardware’s &
software’s.
 Interface service providers & internal / external customers for effective ERP management &
smooth running of all software’s.
 Responsible for maintaining BACKUP / recover and rehearsal of all data’s related to plant
operations.
 Select & upgrade required PC & software configurations inline to the new requirements and
technology updates
 Planning & installation of new PCs & E-mail IDs for the new recruits and provide awareness
training.

T. Head- Projects

 To follow up all customers with the YPMS (Yazaki Project Management System) within YWTI,
 To organize project start up meetings for every new customer,
 To assign project leaders with YWTI Management for each new project and make the cross
functional management teams,
 In case of not assigning the project leader, act his/her task,
 To prepare project main plan for each project and update make corrective actions and get
the General Manager’s approval,
 To attend and follow up the Project Follow up meetings prepare and control the detailed
activity plans,
 To ensure all activities are done according to cost, quality and timing targets,
 To update and follow up the Project main plans and detailed activity plans,
 To take necessary actions for all kind of delays
 To report new customers project / activity status in WMM (Weekly Management Meetings),
Operations Review etc.
 To organize “Project Close-up Meetings” at the end of the projects and prepare Lessons
Learnt report and distribute to related departments,
 To prepare department budget,
