questions (10 marks each), with about 400 words per question.

• The examination paper adds to 50 marks and equals 50% of the total
assessment.

“Structure follows Strategy.” Explain what kind of structure you would choose to
meet the following strategic objectives and the reasons for your choices in each
case:

• Tight control over a very large organisation which conducts higher risk
activities;
• Creativity within a very small organisation;
• Over coming information silos within an organisation with multiple,
hierarchic divisions;
• The need to cut costs.
• Team work, where members of any individual team live in different part so
the world;
