Teaching Experience
● Student Teaching, Egg Harbor Township School District, ​third grade LRC ​classroom, March-May ‘18
Taught LRC math 7 students and LRC reading to 6 students in third grade. Implemented a
research based writing assignment utilizing differentiated materials and instruction to meet
student needs. Math lessons followed Pearson Envision curriculum. Observed an IEP meeting
and participated in the annual review of a student’s IEP.
● Global Student Teaching, International School of Amsterdam, ​second grade​ classroom, Jan.-Mar. ‘18
Taught lessons following the Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum. Utilized the teaching
method of inquiry based learning in Units of Inquiry on Telling Stories and Systems of a
Community. Observed DRAs and participated in department and school wide staff meetings.
Incorporated technology into lessons to utilize the 1:1 student to iPad ratio.
