THE NEW DEAL FOR THE EUROPEAN COUNTRY
The United States provided billions of dollars for
the European countries. Called “the Marshall plan”,
which name after George Catlett Marshall. To
recovery Europeans economy and isolate communism in
Eastern Europe after WWII.
The US government, President Truman has planning to help the
EU economics system by giving out billions of dollars for
the countries, whose economies, infrastructure and
governments had been ruin after the World War II. The goals
of these are assists the rebuilding, recovery effort
countries in EU. Which cause them almost 15 billion of
dollars to those torn nation. Spreading the American
influence all over EU, also making the Soviet Union cannot
expanding the communists system due to that, it started to
become a tension between this two country, and American has
promoted economic recovery in west Germany economy. This is
an actual goal of the plan, isolating Soviet Union. But
America have another goal, which is promoting American
economic growth. Investment and dollars, creating a market
for the American to sell their manufactured goods, so they
can also recovery after the war. another purpose for this is
to organize the European economy in the way that will make
America easier to manage. This might cause the economy to be
improved after the war. Other than that, America influences
might be more spreaded around the world, but is it a good
thing or not? Is there will be a future problems. other than
that, Thailand is still to far from that and did not have
anything to do with this event, This might cause the economy
of thailand grow as the world economy hopefully.

TRUMAN DOCTRINE
On March 12, 1947, President Harry S.
Truman presented this address before
joint session of Congress. His message
known as the Truman Doctrine, asked
Congress for $400 million in military an
economic assistance for Turkey and
Greece.
President Harry S. Truman decided that the
united state would provide a political,
military and economic assistance to all
democratic nations under threat from
external or internal overbearing forces.
Making an effectively change U.S. foreign
policy, causing U.S far away from the
conflicts. Truman told Congress that "it
must be the policy of the United States to
support free people who are resisting
attempted subjugation by armed minorities or
by outside pressures." in the speech on
March 12, 1947. Then the British Government
said that on march 31, would no longer
provide a military and economic assistance
to the Greek Government in its civil war
with the Greek Communist party. Truman then
asked the Congress to support Greek
Government against the Communists and
provide assistance for Turkey. Which, That
time the U.S. think that Greek Communists
was supported by the USSR, scared that the
Soviet will took over Greek policy. But then
Soviet had refrain already but later forced
the Yugoslav Prime Minister to follow suit.
From that, influenced President Truman to
actively aid Greece and Turkey. Said that,
the United States could no longer stand by
and allow the forcible expansion of Soviet
totalitarianism into free, independent
nations, because American national security
now depended upon more than just the
physical security of American territory.

THE SIAMESE COUP D'ÉTAT This event happen on the evening of 7 November
1947, The coup which led by Lieutenant-General
Phin Chunhawan and Colonel Kat
Katsongkhram ousted the government of Rear
Admiral Thawan Thamrongnawasawat, who
was replaced by Khuang Aphaiwong as Prime
Minister of Thailand.
The Siamese coup d'état happen because of the Rear Admiral Thawan Thamrongnawasawat cannot contain the
conflict that happen in the country for the absent King Ananda Mahidol and the corruption of the administer of
giving out the free shovels and spades to the farmers, but turn out both of the equipment was poor quality not
as the spect that has been told. But when the interviewer asking Thawan for his opinion, he said that he was
waiting for it, because he’s really confident with his team quality. This coup d’etat actual will happen on 8
November at 5 am but change to make it quicker for a day. Start from 11pm, night of 7 November. Some of the
tank were sending out to the Amphorn Gardens for the remand in of Thawan.Another tank squadron went to search
for Pridi. On the morning of the next day General Phin Chunhawan got to conferences, broadcasting on the radio
declaring everything out for the people to know. State that they removed this government because of the
behavior of this government was really unacceptable and was unable to solve this problems out . The national
soilder’s committee then change out the government to Khuang Aphaiwong as Prime Minister of Thailand. This
event has been one of the shocking event for Thailand, the fact that there is corruption in the country making
people really disappointed to the government but still things was now sorted out.
Phraya Phahonphonphayuhasena was died at the age of 59. He was sick
and be paralysis since 20 of August due to hemorrhagic stroke he has
from 2 year ago. On 13 of February his pulse started to beat less,
can’t speak. Till the 3.05 pm of the next day he was gone. His family
doesn’t have enough money to pay for his funeral, that Luang
Phibunsongkhram(his former student) have to step in and help pay for
the funeral. His funeral was on 17 of April 1947. Despite the fact
that he held as many position in government. He was a Thai military
leader and politician. He became the second prime minister of Thailand
in 1933. He was an important member of the group of conspirators, as
known as “Four Musketeers”, part of the Khana Ratsadon who the one who
lead the revolution of 1932. After his life as a prime minister,
ousting his predecessor in a coup d'état. He retired from a public
life, even though he serve as inspector-general of the royal thai
armed forces during World War II. After all of that, that he did for
the Siam. Phahonyothin Road was named after him, which is a road from
bangkok to the border of Burma,named the road in his honor. and there
is a hospital named after him called “Phahonphonphayuhasena Hospital”
at karnjanaburi, which used to be his place back then before he became
a prime minister.
