Visitors, welcome.
We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us today. Our host family
has prepared a meal to share and to visit with you in their home. In the
narthex, after the service, the hosts will introduce themselves and invite you.
 Today, seminarian Mr. Rob VanDoodeward will conduct the services.
 Next Sunday, seminarian Seth Huckstead will conduct the morning
worship service and HRC candidate Scott Dibbet will conduct the evening
service, D.V.
 Today and next Sunday, Pastor L. W. Bilkes is serving the Pompton
Plains FRC.
 The consistory is thankful for the support of the congregation to retain
Pastor L.W. Bilkes as a part-time pastor with us during our vacancy. May
God bless him and Jane as they continue their lives with us. We covet your
continued prayers for the blessings of the Lord to prepare the minister of
His choosing to come and serve Him in our congregation.
 The Sunday School/Catechism classes (Beginners – 7 grade) Psalter

 Seminary Student Robert VanDoodewaard is teaching our senior
Catechism class when Pastor L.W. Bilkes is away. There is class today.

If a visiting pastor for some reason needs to decline our request to serve us
this way the class will meet to discuss the content of Fesko's book, Rule of

 Ordination and Installation: The consistory and congregation of the
FRC of Chatham invites everyone to witness the ordination and installation
of Mr. Tim Bergsma into the ministry of the Word on Friday, October 1, 2010
at 7:30 p.m. in the Chatham Free Reformed Church. Rev. H.A. Bergsma will
conduct this service. Plan to share this joyful occasion with us.
 Combined Elders & Deacons Conference (F.R.C. H.R.C. R.C.A.) This
is an open invitation to all office bearers,(current or previous) and pastors to
join us for a day of instruction & fellowship on Saturday, October 23, 2010.
the meeting will take place at the London FRC from 10 AM – 3 PM. Coffee
10:00-10:30 and lunch 12:00-1:00 will be provided. Dr. Jerry Bilkes will
speak on "APOSTASY" - are some of our members abandoning the faith or
the local reformed church? Why? Please advise me, Eric DeKorte,
(ejdekorte@gmail.com) as to how many will be attending from your group
before OCTOBER 15th so I can let the ladies know for the food amount. We
hope to see many of you! Any questions please email me.
 Boys and Girls Club - We are planning the new year of Boys and Girls
Club and need to hear from anyone interested in leading and helping.
Please speak with Steve Kleyn if you can give time to help this year. We
invite all children from 2nd grade and up to attend on the 2nd and 4th
Wednesday evenings of each month beginning at 7:00.

October 2 (Saturday) 7 AM Our first Men’s Breakfast Bible Study of the
season. Please consider attending the Men's Breakfast Bible Study as
we begin another season. We meet at the church on the 1st and 3rd
Saturday of each month at 7am for a time of study, prayer, and fellowship.
We will be continuing our study on the book of James. Please speak with
Steve Kleyn if you have any questions.

Speaker Evening: You are invited to a Speaker Evening, hosted by the
FRC Sunday School Association, on Friday, November 12, 2010 at
8:00pm in the Hamilton FRC. Rev. Schouls plans to speak on the topic
“Addressing our Covenant Children”. Everyone is welcome to attend this
annual event, especially parents and teachers.
