NON-Fiction Response Analysis

1. Summarize the main idea of the text in logical order.

It shows how the boy started to compliment her, she doesn't say anything, and the boy gets
offended, as he throws a tantrum and leave to run, the girl leaves him a not saying that she is deaf
and after he finds out he regrets it.

A connection I could make would be that as a society we judge people by their background, race,
disabilities, and etc without thinking about it.

The films purpose is to show that we should never judge people so instantly.

The audience could be anyone because we all go through this with our everyday lives without
knowing.

The film shows how at the end she leaves a note explaining and apologizing her disability of
being deaf.

The most prevalent would be pathos because it connects to the people emotions who get judge on
and how those who don't have disabilities or anything wrong have to understand.

That we shouldn't always have to assume or judge someone in an instant.
8. How did this text help you understand the topic addressed in this text.
The film helped me understand it more because it shows how those who are judge are always
getting affected by it even if they are not at fault.

An element i would change would be to also bring in more of the girls point of view of how she
felt at the end.
10.We as a society should not judge people because it could cause confusion within themselves
and the person affected by it. We always get influenced to what others say without realizing what
is there situation. As what the movie portrayed, it shows how a boy got offended by the girl
because she didn't respond back to him even though she is deaf. This later shows how the boy
regretted everything that he said to the girl because he was quick to judge her by saying that she
was conceited. In conclusion, we should judge people at all because it could result in hurting
feelings and regret because once you find out what they go through you would think of them
differently.
