GROUP MEMBERS

RUBRIC:
__________ Steps of the aerobic dance – 15 points

15-12pts
Students incorporate at least 10 separate moves in their routines.
9-11pts
More than 8 moves are incorporated in the routine, moves flow most
of the time
Some transitions are rough.
5-8pts
Less than 8 moves are demonstrated

Needs much more practice.
0-4pts
Less than 5 moves are showed
The routine does not have a clear beginning, ending or cycle.

12–15 pts
Presentation is clear
Shows the routine has been practiced because all group members move in
unison.
9-11pts
Presentation is fairly clear
Some group members are lost during parts of the routine.
5-8 pts
At least ½ of the presentation is choppy and unrehearsed.

0-4 pts
The routine is choppy and unrehearsed with many of the group
members unable to move together in unison.

17-20 pts
Each person in the group takes turns explaining a portion of the routine,
The explanation to the class is clear and easy for the class to follow from
one movement to the next with proper cueing.

14-16 pts
Presentation to the class transitions from one move to the next are not
counted on beat or cued properly at times
everyone is able to repeat the routine.

9-13 pts
Presentation to the class is difficult to follow with cueing
Transitioning from one movement to the next does not flow
Group members do not take turns leading and/or do not know one another’s
part of the routine.

0-8 pts
Presentation cannot be followed
The class is unable to repeat the routine, for example, no cueing or
transitioning occurs.

27-30 pts
Title page included with name of routine, all group members names,
music title and artist used for the routine.
Paper includes: specific duties of each group member, beats per minute,
main focus of the routine—including muscles worked, main purpose, safety
precautions, types of stretches.
Each of the movements within the routine are thoroughly explained well.
The entire paper and title page are typed with use of clip art/drawing.

23-26 pts
Title page included with name of routine, all group members names,
music title and artist used for the routine.
Paper includes: specific duties of each group member, beats per minute,
main focus of the routine—including muscles worked, main purpose, safety
precautions, types of stretches.
Each of the movements within the routine are thoroughly explained well.
The entire paper and title page is typed but spelling and grammar errors
occur and title page lacks use of clip art/drawing.

18-22 pts
Title page is forgotten, paper is not typed, hard to follow, for example, the
paper is missing the number of times a movement is used, beats per minute as
well as the main focus of the routine.
Numerous spelling and grammar errors occur.

0-17 pts
Pencil is used, it is difficult to understand how the routine will be presented,
main focus of routine is missing, muscles used are not included as well as the
responsibilities of each group member, the beats per minute and safety precautions.
No title page included.
