• Cambions start with 2d8 racial hit dice in addition to the hit dice granted by their class levels. (This is to say that they have 2 additional hit dice that are d8s) • Medium: As Medium creatures, cambions gain no special bonuses or penalties due to size. • Cabions base speed is 30 feet. All cambions can fly at a speed of 30 feet with an average maneuverability. • Slow Aging: Cambions age at 1/3 the rate of normal humans. • Maternal Connection: Cambions forge a mystical bond with their human mother. They always know when she is in danger, regardless as to the distance. Also, the cambion may deliver touch spells and share spells with it’s mother if it wishes, as if his mother were a familiar. The mother may specifically request aid of this sort through the mental link, but cannot provide any other details, and the cambion cannot communicate with it’s mother through the link either. Finally, a cambion can share spell-like abilities with another cambion’s mother so long as it can see the other cambion and said cambion consents to be used as a channel. • Infernal Connection: A cambion’s demonic father is a looming presence over it’s life. The Cambion’s father can see and hear eveything the cambion does. If the father is a member of the fiend of possession prestige class, he may attempt to possess his child no matter the intervening distance between them. • -4 to saves versus possession. • Cambions can attack with their natural weapons. They receive to claw attacks and a bite attack. The claws are their primary natural attack. A cambion’s claw attacks deal 1d4 points of damage, while it’s bite attack deals 1d6 points of damage. These attacks are considered to be magical for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction. (both claws and fangs retract when not in use) • Darkvision: Cambions can see in the dark up to 60 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but is otherwise identical to normal sight, and cambions can function just fine with no light at all. • Resistences: Cambions are resistant to acid 10, cold 10, electricity 10, and fire 10. • Damage Reduction: Cambions have damage reduction 5/magic. At 12th level, their damage reduction increases to 10/magic. • Cambions have spell resistance of 10+their Hit Dice • Cambions cannot take Charism feats, nor can they receive the sacraments or achieve a state of grace. Likewise, they can never join the priesthood. • Cambions have a +1 natural armor bonus. • All cambions are immune to poison. • Cambions inherit the versatility of their human parent, gaining 4 extra skill points at first level and an additional skill point every level thereafter. • Cambions gain a bonus feat. This is in addition to the normal feats gained at first level, and they may select any feat for which they qualify. • Native Outsider: As native outsiders, cambions may be raised, reincarnated, or resurrected as any other living creature. • Asexual: All cambions are sterile, and are incapable of sexual arousal by any means. • Spell like abilities: Cambions gain an impressive amount of spell-like abilities as they advance in levels. Unless otherwise stated in the table, the cambion may use the ability once per day. • Favored Class: Barbarian • Level Adjustment: +3 Table 2-1: Cambion Spell-Like Abilities Level Abilities 1-2 Darkness 3/day 3-4 Desecrate 5-6 Unholy Blight 7-8 Poison 3/day 9-10 Contagion 11-12 Blasphemy 13-14 Unholy Aura 3/day, Unhallow 15-16 Horrid Wilting 17-18 Summon Monste IX (fiends only) 19-20 Destruction

The Order of Saint Raziel the Archangel:
The Order of Saint Raziel is a split-off group of the Benedictine monks composed almost entirely out of Cambions. It was founded by Pope Gregory the Great in an effort to both stymie the tide of fiendish influence in the world and reduce the amount of deaths due to poorly planned witch-hunts. Few know of the Order, which is by design, as many would object to a large presence of fiend-spawn among the ranks of the faithful. While not truly a secret order (which would be against Church policy), knowledge of the order is suppressed, so that only the Pope and perhaps up to 3 Cardinals know of it at any one time. Even then, they are only told as much about the order as the Pope asks to know about. The purpose of the order is to track down and purify Cambions, allowing them to come in full communion with the Church and give them a shot at salvation. It also runs a special programs for victims of rape, particularly female victims of demonic rape, though any are welcome. Cambion children are first exorcised to evict any trace of the demonic parent, and then baptized and confirmed immediately (even though confirmation is typically only received by Catholics during adolescence). The overwhelming power of the sacraments expels all traces of demonic power from the Cambion, with affects detailed below. Cambions are then raised to adolescence within the confines of the abbey, receiving a top-tier education in theology and the natural sciences from the monks and nuns of the abbey. Once they reach adulthood, they are encouraged to join the order; most do so anyways, as the circumstances of their birth leave them sterile, and there is much to gain from staying with the order. Victims of demonic rape are exorcised to rid the unfortunate woman of the hellish power, and then given several months or years of therapy by the nuns of the abbey to help them recover from their horrific experience. After recovery, they are allowed to leave, though most women tend to stay with the abbey as nuns. Staying with the abbey has very distinct benefits, not the least of which in guaranteed protection against unwanted intrusion of the demonic sort (each abbey is built within the radius of a level 9 community pact of the angel constellation set by a bishop), as it is not unheard of for demons to repeatedly harass previous victims. In addition, the cambions themselves often grant their mothers a degree of magical protection as well, and the higher the nun’s rank, the more cambions devote their energies to protecting her. The Order of Saint Raziel is effectively three organizations rolled into one. The first is the Church itself, typically represented by the three resident priests of each abbey, one of which is always of pastor rank. See “The Church” for more details. The second is the cambion section of the order, called “the Nephilim”. The third organization includes the mothers of the cambions, called “the Razielites”. The Nephilim and Razielite sub-order affiliations are detailed below. Further, a small faction of the Knight’s Templar has also been deployed to defend the abbeys. Acting as the military arm of the Order (despite having a distinct hierarchy from it), the Knight’s Templar defend the abbeys against both martial and demonic threats. Their affiliation is likewise detailed below. All three factions of the Order as well as the Knights Templar are considered Papal Legates for all purposes. All four sub-orders are also exclusive to each-other: you cannot be in multiple at once.
