Fins – You might want to embroider the yellow pattern
BEFORE you sew these onto the body. In hindsight, that is
what I would have done! – Scroll for pattern
After you finish a fin, crochet along the sides of the border
that won’t be sewn to the body using red. I used size 4 red
yarn and a size 5 crochet hook. I also found that it looked better if you “poked”
you crochet hook through the knit side of the piece first when starting out!
Tail Fins

*When you make the second tail fin, “K until the last 2 stitches then SSK”
for Odd Rows 1-11.

When sewing to the body, the
smaller 2 fins go nearest to the
rest of the body while the
bigger fins go on the outside.
When sewing on the two fins
that sit towards the bottom of
the piece, sew them slightly to
either side rather than directly
across from the other 2 top fins

Yellow Pattern: I used yellow size 4 yarn and a slightly larger, curved upholstery
needle. I eyeballed how to position the circles as you may be able to tell!
Eyes – Good luck :/
I used yellow and black embroidery thread
and a small, curved upholstery needle.
Embroider the eye within the largest part of
of each eye section.
You are done! :D
As usual, please don’t sell this pattern
or anything made from this pattern.
