I. INTRODUCTION.

Gordon Brown is the United Nations special envoy for global

education and former Prime Minister for the United Kingdom. He was
one of the first leaders during the global crisis to initiate calls for global
financial action. His record on global justice includes this negotiation of
debt cancellation for the worlds poorest nations and the tripling of the
budget for life saving aid. Gordon Brown has a PhD in History from the
University of Edinburgh and spent his early career working as a lecturer.
Gordon Brown was invited by Tedtalks to lecture about those problems
or issues that were suffering or facing on the different part of the world
that need to be rectify like the issue on the discrimination between the
rich people and the poor people, the modernize generation like using
technology by means of communication, the challenge of all poverty,
climate change, terrorism in different parts of the world due to
misunderstanding between people and the government as well as the
issue of the human rights that we cannot be avoided nowadays.
Through Tedtalks, Gordon Brown encouraging us to create a global
institutions that reflect of fairness a responsibility or the moral sense
and global ethic that commands attention from the people of every
religions, faiths, and continents to unite and build a global society.
II. Body

Maybe some of us are aware on the different issues on the

world and some are not. We all know that the world suffers from
different issues or problems such as abuses on children and not
only children but also with other people especially on women as
we seen in the video. Poverty is the biggest issue that the world is
facing now because of Lack of control in local food, lack of access
to education, mental illness, lack of proper psychiatric care, world
hunger, the economic development in the world, epidemic
diseases, population and especially corruption is a major cause
and a result to poverty and also lack of financial to buy their
everyday needs. Because of poverty, there is a discrimination
between the poor people and from the rich people. The poor
people have no chance in achieving the justice they want not like
from the rich family they can buy the justice they want because of
money. Poor people find fault, want the cheapest way, they think
that money is more important than time and poor people
complain, condemn and criticize while rich people find success,
want the best way, they know that time is important than money
and rich people praise and enjoy their blessings. Another one is in
terms of politics when you don’t have money it impossible if you
will get the victory. The modern means of communication we all
know that there is an advantage and disadvantage of using
technologies. The advantage is that you can talk and see you want
to talk and see through social media like facebook, messenger,
skype and many more but there is also disadvantage on it such as
cancer because of radiation from technologies. Apartheid it refers
to a political system where people are clearly divided based on
race, gender, class or other such factors. An example apartheid is
society where white people are considered superior and people of
other races are mistreated. The discrimination on the basis of sex
and gender and sexuality all these have come under pressure
because we all know that in the past few years, third sex are not
welcome in the society because they all know that they would be
the problem of our society but now they are the one who is now a
successful person nowadays. Climate change is a change in global
or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent the
middle to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the
increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the
use of fossil fuels, it also define as a change of climate that is
attributed directly or indirectly to human activity altering the
composition of the global atmosphere. Human rights are rights to
inherent to all human beings regardless of races, sex, nationality,
ethnicity, language, religion or any other status. Human rights
include right to life and liberty, freedom of opinion and
expression, the right to work and education and many more.
Everyone is entitled to these rights without discrimination but
above all this many people violate every people’s right most
especially to those who have their power to violate everyone’s
right.
III. REACTION

In this video about different global issues were facing

Gordon Brown present by showing everyone illustrations about
bow kids in other countries are suffering and how they are
mistreated. I believe it’s very sad that no one has stand up for
their rights for kids who are in poverty, there’s no one to fights
against those who violated against human rights a person who
will help those in poor family. “There is a moral sense across all
religions, across all faiths, across all continents – a moral sense
that not only do we share the pain of others, and believe in
something bigger than ourselves but we have the duty to act
when we see that are wrong that need righted, see injuries that
need to be corrected, see problems that need to be rectified”. We
must aware on what was happening on the world because there
are some people need our help so we must unite and help each
others problem. “We have now the capacity to find common
ground with people who will never meet, but who we will meet
through the internet and through all the modern means of
communications”. We will now have the capacity to voice out our
opinions and expression with the use of the modern
communication and we will now be updated on what was
happening in or out of the world because of the modernize
generation. “The challenge of poverty, of climate change and
global challenges needed global solutions and needed the
creation of a truly global society. We are first generation which
is in a position to do this”. Yes! Because we all know that it can’t
be solved by one person nor one country only. We must have our
unity to fight against poverty, climate changes and also with
global issues because we are also the reason why we are suffering
this problems so we must also the solution on it because we have
the power to do this. “We cannot solve this problems unless we
work together”. We will solve those problems if we work
together, we understand each other and if we have the passion in
pursuing to solve those problems we are encountering. If we have
the unity in facing those problems we will be easier to solve it.
“The challenge for our generation is to create global institutions
that reflect our ideas of fairness and responsibility, not the ideas
that were the basis of the last stage of financial development”.
Definitely, this would the challenge for us but I know that it would
not be the barriers in creating a global society unless we just fair
in everyone of us so that it could not be the problem of each and
everyone. I admire so much tedtalk. Tedtalk build for the first
time,out of global ethic and our global ability to communicate and
organize together, a truly global society, built on that ethic but
with institution that can serve that global society and make for a
different future. People are the most important in taking their
opinions to the public and sharing their ideas through the modern
communication because it is the best way for the government to
see. Also, many people have blog database where they to get talk
about their reactions and ideas about issues they might have to
publicize. The modern age has come with great technology
innovations since a century. This was very interesting video to
learn how many people can be influence by this tedtalk by Gordon
Brown.
IV. Conclusion

Because of the internet and other forms of communication

we are some in ways moving towards a society that is more
homogeneous around the world. Internet is a very good tool or
should I say the key to use for the betterment of the world and
this is a Global society.

posibleng maging epekto. Kung ang kabataan noon naglalaro
lang sila ng patintero, tagu-taguan luksong baka at iba pa ang
ngayon ay hawak hawak na nila ang kaniya kaniyang tablet,
cellphone, laptop at kung ano-ano pa dahil sa mga teknolohiya
na naglipana sa henerasyong ito. May mga kabataan na din
ngayon na napapariwara na ng landas dahil sa paggamit ng mga
ipinagbabawal na gamot at kung minsan sila pa mismo ang
nagiging sangi ng iba’t ibang krimen dahil sa kawalan ng
pinansyal at gabay ng mga magulang. Bukod sa pagkakaiba ng
mga kabataan noon at ngayon meron pa rin silang pagkakatulad
gaya ng pagrespeto sa mga matatanda, marunong silang
magmahal sa kanikanilang mga pamilya at higit sa lahat nag-aaral
sila para matupad ang kanilang ninanais na pangarap.
