DEALER LIMITED WARRANTIES

FOR ECOSYS SERIES PRINTERS & MFP’S

KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc. (“KYOCERA”) warrants its new ECOSYS Series
Printers/Multifunctional Products (referred to herein as “Printers/MFPs/”), to Authorized Dealers as follows:

Mainframes and Accessories. The Printers/MFPs’ mainframe and accessories are warranted against
defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for a period of 39 months from
KYOCERA’s invoice date to Dealer, or the specified number of copies/prints listed below, whichever occurs
first (referred to herein as “Printers/MFPs Warranty Period”). KYOCERA’s obligation hereunder is expressly
limited to providing Dealer with the parts required to repair the Printers/MFPs or crediting Dealer's account
for the cost of said parts, at KYOCERA's election.

Maintenance Kits. Maintenance Kits generally consist of the developing unit, the drum unit, and the fixing
unit. Components of Maintenance Kits included with the original Printers/MFPs are warranted against
defects in material and workmanship for a period of 36 months from date of installation with first end-user, or
39 months from KYOCERA’s invoice date to Dealer (referred to herein as Original Maintenance Kit Warranty
Period), or the specified number of copies/prints listed below (referred to herein as Original Maintenance Kit
Copy Allowance), whichever occurs first. Replacement Maintenance Kits purchased and installed after the
Original Maintenance Kit Copy Allowance has expired, shall have a limited warranty for the specified number
of copies/prints listed below, or until the Original Maintenance Kit Warranty Period expires, whichever occurs
first. Replacement Maintenance Kits purchased and installed after the Original Maintenance Kit Warranty
Period has expired shall have a limited warranty of 90 days. To be covered by this 90 day warranty, the
Replacement Kit must be installed and registered prior to the Printer/MFP exceeding 10% of the Original
Maintenance Kit Copy Allowance.

These warranties do not cover Printers/MFPs or components of Maintenance Kits which: (a) have become
damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents, improper storage or unusual physical or electrical
stress, (b) have used parts or supplies which are not genuine KYOCERA brand parts or supplies, (c) have
been installed or serviced by a technician not employed by KYOCERA or an Authorized KYOCERA Dealer,
(d) have had the serial number modified, altered, or removed, or (e) Dealer fails to register the installation
information for the Printer/MFP with KYOCERA utilizing KDAconnect.

THESE WARRANTIES SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,

INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
KYOCERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH
MAY ARISE OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE PRINTER/MFP.

Technical Services has made the Warranty Return Process more efficient so your Warranty Claim can be
verified and processed in the least amount of time.

To process your Warranty Claim and verify other key information, the Status Page (one page) must be
included with the returned item. If the Status Page is not included with a Warranty Claim, credit may be
declined. Refer to the Maintenance Mode of the Service Manual for instructions on printing reports.

Product Training for the ECOSYS M2035dn/L/M2535dn/L is offered as an On-Line Training Course titled (New
ECOSYS P7035cdn Series/P2135dn Series/M6526cidn Series/M2535dn Series Enhancement Course) available at
the Learning Center on KDAconnect.

Dealer Technicians who are certified on the FS-1028MFP/1128MFP/1035MFP/1135MFP are required to take the New
ECOSYS P7035cdn Series/P2135dn Series/M6526cidn Series/M2535dn Series Enhancement Course.

The Dealership can place its first order for the training equipment prior to authorization, but additional equipment
purchases of the ECOSYS M2035dn/L/M2535dn/L require that at least one Technician has completed the (New
ECOSYS P7035cdn Series/P2135dn Series/M6526cidn Series/M2535dn Series Enhancement) On-Line Training
Course with an overall score of 80% or higher.

For New Dealers and Technicians that do not meet the prerequisites, please complete the Full
FS-1028MFP/1128MFP/1035MFP/1135MFP On-Line Training Course and the New ECOSYS P7035cdn
Series/P2135dn Series/M6526cidn Series/M2535dn Series Enhancement Course available at the Learning Center on
KDAconnect.

Defective PCB’s being returned within the 3-Year warranty period must be returned to the National Return Center
utilizing the Online Return Authorization Request Form on KDAconnect. A copy of this form must be filled out
completely and be returned with the Circuit Board for Credit. Any associated mounting brackets, hardware, system
software and original packaging must be included with the claim. Credit will then be issued to your account.
Defective PCB’s out of warranty may be returned for repair to the National Return Center using the Online Repair
Board Core Form.

Kyocera NET Admin is Kyocera's unified device management
solution that uses a web-based platform to give network
administrators easy control of all network enabled printing
devices.
Kyocera NET Admin is web-based, no client software
installation is necessary.
