PROPER WASTE SEGREGATION AND DISPOSAL PROJECT

Garbage pollution is one of the most disastrous and serious problems that we are
experiencing now. To lessen this problem, Josephine F. Khonghun Special Education
Center (JFK SPED) implemented a Sanitary Waste Disposal/ Garbage Management to
help save our Mother Earth and to decrease the amount of chlouroflourocarbons in our
atmosphere.

Sanitary waste disposal /garbage management is a way in separating

Biodegradabe, Non- Biodegradable and recyclable materials to reduce trashes, reuse
trashes and convert it into useful ones.

Each classroom are using three or more garbage bins with proper labels such as
biodegradable, non-biodegradable and recyclable. In this way, it can also practice that
pupils/students to throw their garbage properly.

The students/pupils put into practice the Waste Segregation and Disposal. Properly
segregating and disposing the waste not only reduces the amount of toxins that enter
the atmosphere, but may even save someone's life. Each classroom in the campus
utilizes the designed trashcans so pupils can easily reduce all types of waste with
changes in their habits, and even save some money in the process. Reduction of the
