Section 1 : Common Configuration

Overview:
We connect Lan ports.
We create and connect Wan ports
We join them using either Ethernet private line or
Ethernet Switch (NPU3B)

Ethernet switch has to be turned on before use.

Connect Lan port for :

A). PRIVATE LINE: Right Click – configure – connect to Layer 1

B). ETHERNET SWITCH: Right Click–configure–connect to port No.

Section 2 : Creating the WANs

1: Ethernet over PDH ( PDH-IME Wan)
- right click on PDH-IME–configure – connect to – Ethernet(Wan interfaces now visible)

Create Capacity for PDH-IME

-right click – configure – capacity
(This is where you pick the Board ( LTU/MMU )and number of E1’s)
