Battery Technology
The Aqueous Hybrid Ion battery is a modular building block for clean energy storage systems.
Saltwater technology is the safest and most environmentally-friendly way of storing electric
power. Designed for years of hassle-free operation in stationary, long-duration applications, the
batteries are optimized for storing energy for residential, off-grid, and micro-grid applications.

GREENROCK with hybrid function (3phase)
GREENROCK Hybrid combines the advantages of a PV inverter in combination with a battery

inverter. The system is perfectly synchronized. No further investments on PV side are necessary!
Upgrading pre-existing systems with batteries is easily possible. GREENROCK hybrid is joined with
existing PV inverters.

mains support / frequency or power). An active PV production is possible
With AC coupling it is absolutely necessary for the installer to check the inverter specifications.
With DC coupling please note position DC coupling in the price list and add it!

Technical data DC charge controller
An optional DC coupling of the PV can be done by means of charge controllers. Ultrafast

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is recommended especially when the sky is overcast. As
light intensity is changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves energy output by up to
30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.

GREENROCK EMS is a high standard equipment for an extremely high optimization of self-
consumption. Please note our terms and conditions for operating EMS in online and offline mode.
EMS includes following operations:
 Visualizing and data analysis of GREENROCK, online via free GREENROCK portal and via
mobile APP
 Monitoring of PV system, up to 3 PV inverters by one manufacturer (all common PV
inverter manufacturers can be integrated, no additional meter required)
 Controlling PV installation according to EEG regulations and fixed settings taking self-
consumption into account via ripple control receiver
 Charge controller
 Optimizing self consumption
 Emergency power function (not for GREENROCK Hybrid)
 Operating heating element
 Operating wireless sockets (up to 3 wireless sockets)
 Operating charging station for e-car
 Operating heat pump (with SG Ready)

Application for Peak Shaving*:
Altering of GREENROCK regulation. With peak shaving other applications are only activated when
the energy storage is full (SOC = 100%). Otherwise other applications would not see any excess.
