Curriculum Design

Concept of curriculum design

Is a method that contributes to the development of the
curriculum within a specific educational framework, helps
the teacher to know all the detailed components of the
curriculum he will study, and also defines curriculum design,
as the means that brings together all the contents of the
curriculum, such as: objectives, methods of evaluation,
Multiple activities, solutions to the curriculum book
questions, and other content. This contributes to teachers'
teaching style, makes them more able to interact with
students, and takes advantage of the time spent on the study
.quota efficiently

Foundations of curriculum design

:Curriculum design depends on a set of foundations

Philosophical basis: It is the foundation that aims to design

the curriculum according to the prevailing thought in the
society, or the state, so it is important that the curriculum is
appropriate to the nature of public culture associated with
folk philosophy in people, so that the approach is acceptable,
.and applicable
Social basis: It is the basis that reflects the nature of public
life within the content of the curriculum, such as: religious
.values, customs, heritage traditions, and ethical directives
Psychological basis: It is the foundation that is interested in
understanding the psychological nature of students, based on
the study of the stages of study, and evaluate the manner of
interaction with them, drawing on the advice of specialists in
.educational psychology
Knowledge base: It is the basis of the curriculum based on a
range of sources and knowledge references that contribute to
enriching the content of the textbook with sufficient
.information about its subjects

I
The importance of curriculum design
Focusing on all the main issues of interest to the book's
systematic section, while ensuring that it fits in with the
.study stage allocated to it
Contribute to the acquisition of systematic copies of
textbooks, characterized by high quality in printing,
.copying
Achieves the knowledge benefit required from the
educational content, within the rules, and instructions for
.applying the curriculum within the room

Characteristics of curriculum design

Curriculum design is characterized by the following
:characteristics

Depends on one of the theories of education applied in the

.preparation of curricula
Obtain all the information from the educational system
applied in the Ministry of Education, and depends on the
.basis of the design of internationally agreed approaches
Evolution is accepted when there are reasons to redesign the
.curriculum
Is directly dependent on the feedback provided by teachers
and students, which contributes to better design of the
.curriculum
The curriculum designer should avoid mistakes in the
content of the course material, in the formulation of the
.texts, and in the contents of the contents

II
Curriculum design models
:Curriculum design depends on the following models

Structural model: It is one of the easiest types of models

used in curriculum design, and is based on providing
illustrative examples of many subjects that need to be used
.for illustration, such as: plotting the terrain in the ground
Mathematical Model: A model that is associated with
materials containing mathematical equations, such as:
mathematics, physics and contributes to clarifying the laws
used to solve these equations, and general mathematical
.symbols
Concept Model: A model that contains all the definitions and
.terminology in textbooks, with a clear understanding

III
What is Curriculum

Introduction
A - Some specialists see the introduction as a legitimate
.contract between the researcher and the reader

B - Introduction is the preparation of the reader in a short

time to interact with the search, which is the real portal
and the main gate, which is the outcome of research and
directions, and a statement of the nature of research and
.researcher, which reflect their true image

C. The introduction includes the following elements

Research topic
Is a comprehensive presentation of the nature of the
subject or problem, indicating the relevance of the topic
of research to the general subject of the science being
searched in its surroundings. As well as its relevance to
the particular subject being explored in its surroundings.
If there are theories or scientific findings that have been
presented in this problem, they should be linked to the
.problem in question

Problematic research
The researcher explains the main idea from which he
starts his studies. The problem is a question that asks for
a solution, a scientific issue or a theory that has no
solution. The problem is primary when the researcher
sets it up and builds upon its hypotheses or research plan.
When the researcher collects the scientific material, he
begins studying it, examining it and then revising or
modifying it and adding to it what it takes to become
.final

Justifications and importance of research

IV
The reasons and the subjective and objective reasons that
led the researcher to choose the topic of his research
vary. The researcher must explain these reasons and
reasons in the introduction, while highlighting the
importance of research at the theoretical and practical
level as follows

The theoretical or scientific importance of the study: It

clarifies what the study will add to the new information
and generalizations, which have not been reached before,
taking into account that the generalizations in addition to
the general field of specialization in general, from those
not reached through previous research In the previous

Practical or practical importance of study: It shows the

contribution of the study in providing scientific solutions
to the problem at hand, both at the level of an institution
or the community. This should be clear, precise and
concise

Limitations of research
The researcher explains the objective boundaries of the
research, which will limit his questions. And spatial
boundaries, the place where the research will be
conducted, and will circulate the results on it. The
.temporal limits are the time period for research

Previous studies
The researcher refers to the previous research and studies
that dealt with the topic in his faculties or in its parts,
with reference to the aspects and points that did not focus
on these research or studies, to show that the research is
aimed at new innovation, or correct previous errors or
complete shortcomings It is then studied

V
comprehensively and conclusively with reference to
.sources and sources that include such research

Questions or assumptions
The researcher places questions or scientific hypotheses
that he sees as a solution to the problem of research or
.the scientific problem in question

Research Methodology and Tools

The researcher refers to the methodology followed in his
research, the sample he used and the research tools used,
and the extent to which this is consistent with the nature
.of the research

Research Plan
The researcher should present in the introduction the
research plan, and its divisions of chapters, chapters and
discussions, and mention the idea addressed by each
.chapter or chapter or section

Obstacles and difficulties

The researcher should refer to the obstacles and
difficulties encountered in his research, whether in
obtaining sources or references related to funding
research or those related to access to information sources
and other obstacles and inhibitors. And what is the
method used by the researcher to overcome these
.difficulties, showing the magnitude of the effort

E - The researcher should consider the following when

:writing the introduction to the research
Beginning Basmalah: Praise be to God, and praise it
followed by prayer and peace on the Messenger of Allah
.peace be upon him

VI
The introduction should not be long, preferably four to
.eight pages

To be numbered alphabetically according to the

following alphabet (Abjad - Hawz - Hati - Kalman -
.Saafis - Quasht - Thaqh - chewing)

Write the introduction when the researcher finishes

.writing the research

Do not write the introduction in the form of points or

.side titles
