Topic: Keep calm and good luck!
Learning Goals: Students will spend the class completing an exam.
Language Skills:
Reading: Students will read tasks of the exam.
Writing: Students will produce words to complete the tasks.
Speaking: Students will have to produce sentences in order to score during the
game.
Listening: Students will listen to the trainee while she explains the tasks.
Language System:
Vocabulary: Students will use vocabulary related to everyday activities and
routine.
Grammar: Students will put in practice their knowledge about present simple
and continuous.

Lead in (5’): the trainee will greet the students and ask them if they studied
for the exam. She will proceed to hand in the papers.

Test (75’): the trainee will explain every point of the exam and she will wish
the students good luck.

Present Simple:

1) Underline the adverbs from the sentences and circle its meaning:

If there is time left: Students are going to play a memory game. They will
be divided in two teams. One integrant of each will have to find the pairs and
write sentences about them in present continuous. If the sentence is correct, the
team scores.
