La Serena es una ciudad y comuna del Norte Chico de Chile, capital de la Región de

Coquimbo. Es uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes del país. Destaca su
centro histórico con una preservada arquitectura neocolonial caracterizada por sus
balcones, pequeñas plazas e iglesias de piedra de varios siglos de antigüedad y sus
extensas playas.

El Faro Monumental de La Serena es un faro chileno ubicado en la Avenida del

Mar de la ciudad de La Serena. La estructura se caracteriza por ser el símbolo público
de la ciudad.

Valle del Elqui. Es uno de los lugares más visitados, considerado un polo energético
y asociado al fenómenos OVNI por las comunidades. Posee atractivos turísticos,
como el Museo Gabriela Mistral, Viña Cavas del Valle, la planta de producción
de Pisco CAPEL, y las cocinas solares de Villaseca.

Observatorios. Al tener uno de los cielos más claros del hemisferio sur, razón por la
cual diversas organizaciones internacionales han instalado observatorios
astronómicos en las cumbres de los cerros Pachón y Tololo.

La isla Damas es una de las tres islas que forman parte de la Reserva Nacional
Pingüino de Humboldt, en la Región de Coquimbo, Chile. Posee dos playas, La Poza y
Las Tijeras, con arena blanca y aguas verde esmeralda.

Gabriela Mistral Museum, Viña Cavas del Valle, the Pisco CAPEL production plant, and the
solar kitchens of Villaseca.

Observatories Having one of the clearest skies in the southern hemisphere, which is
why various international organizations have installed astronomical observatories on
the peaks of Pachón and Tololo hills.

Damas Island is one of the three islands that are part of the Humboldt Penguin
National Reserve, in the Coquimbo Region, Chile. It has two beaches, La Poza and
Las Tijeras, with white sand and emerald green waters.
