 Energy resources geothermal energy
Geothermal energy is the heat from the Earth.
It's clean and sustainable. Resources of
geothermal energy range from the shallow
ground to hot water and hot rock found a few
miles beneath the Earth's surface, and down
even deeper to the extremely high temperatures
of molten rock called magma.

Advantages
1. First and foremost, geothermal energy is
extracted from the earth without burning
fossil fuels, and geothermal fields produce
practically no emissions. What’s more,
geothermal energy can be very beneficial, as
you can achieve savings of up to 80% over
conventional energy usage.
2. There are many advantages to geothermal
energy. Geothermal energy is renewable
energy because once water or steam is used,
it can be pumped back into the ground. It is
also clean energy. Geothermal power plants,
unlike plants that burn fossil fuels, do not
produce greenhouse gases that can be harmful
to the atmosphere.
Disadvantage
The biggest disadvantage with geothermal
energy is that it can only be produced at
selected sites throughout the world. The
largest group of geothermal power plants in
the world is located at The Geysers, a
geothermal field in California, United States.

Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the
Sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-
evolving technologies such as solar heating,
photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar
architecture, molten salt power plants and
artificial photosynthesis

Advantages
1.Renewable Energy Source. Among all the
benefits of solar panels, the most important
thing is that solar energy is a truly renewable
energy source.
2.Reduces Electricity Bills.
3.Diverse Applications.
4.Low Maintenance Costs.
5.Technology Development.
Disadvantages
That disadvantage is that the sun doesn't shine
24 hours a day. When the sun goes down or is
heavily shaded, solar PV panels stop producing
electricity. If we need electricity at that time, we
have to get it from some other source. In other
words, we couldn't be 100% powered by solar
panels.
