RESUMO
This research points out the contribution of Lucidity for the English language teaching and learning
process in the middle school classes. Some of the goals of this work are to analyze how ludic
activities may contribute to the students’ English learning process and to bring some information
forward about the same, instead of, to identify those which can contribute to the teaching learning
process. The survey was made with a group of 32 students at Professor Camilo José da Silveira
Filho Public School, on a 6 th grade middle school classroom, in the afternoon shift, whose fulfilled
a questionnaire of closed questions just as another one given to the language teacher from the
related classroom. Bibliographical and Field researches were used to achieve the results. As a
result we could see that it was satisfactory because most of the students could interact making
questions and taking part of the ludic activities and they fulfilled the questionnaire as well as the
teacher involved. The data showed that ludic practice are well accepted and they shall be used in
the English language activities besides to contribute positively to the teaching learning process,
since they enable a more favorable environment to stimulate creativity and to better interaction
between teacher and student.
