Long-tail cast on 70 stitches. Bind off 72 stitches in pattern at beginning of next 2 rows.
Beginning with row 1, work from simple cable chart Repeat from * twice more, binding off all stitches at

Loosely braid 3 scarf pieces of each side. Secure
bottom of braids by wrapping and tying a piece of
yarn around its end.
With WS facing, weave elastic along entire neck
edge of Hood. Try the garment on, and pull elastic to
achieve desired fit. Weave ends of elastic back along

Skill Level seed stitch to end. neck edge to center, and knot them together.
