Introduction of Ver. 7.3 Upgrade of SSD-3500SV

We are pleased to introduce Version 7.3 upgrade of the SSD-3500SV as follows. We

apologize for giving you this late information.

Serial numbers of Ver.7.3: M11396 and higher

A. Alternations:

1. The parameter memory set for several probes has been changed;
This change has been made in relation to a new measurement method of
maximum ultrasound transmitting output. However, this change doesn’t
affect the image quality.

(Notes)
You will find either modification kit, PM-3500-30 or PM-3500-30B in the
components of UST-5413. These kits are to be applied for some earlier
versions of SSD-3500SV than Ver.7.3. It is not necessary to use these
kits for SSD-3500SV Ver.7.3.

2. Software kit number for RT-3D functions has been changed;

The following 3 optional items are required to activate RT-3D for
SSD-3500SV Ver.7.3.

RT-3D board, EU-9112

CPU board, EU-9112-1
Software kit (HDD), PM-3500-S733EXP9112 or USA9112
* EXP9112 is for export except for USA and USA9112 is for USA.

Also, the above 3 items can be used for all SSD-3500SV Ver.7.0 through
Ver.7.3.3. However, the system software will be upgraded to Ver.7.3.3
when the above software kit is applied to former versions. In such a case,
the operation manual for Ver.7.3 will be required (a difference between
Ver.7.3 and Ver.7.3.3 is minor software change for manufacturing
process).

B. Upgrade Kits
No upgrade kit specifically to Ver.7.3 will be prepared.
