Release Updates
Use the following information to review important notes about the current Epicor release.
Run Conversion - 9.05.700B Installs Only

If you previously installed the 9.05.700B patch (released on June 6, 2012), you must use the following steps to
download and run a conversion program.
Note If you are installing the 9.05.700B2 patch (released on June 13, 2012), the required files are already
included in the B2 patch. No additional steps are needed.
If you previously installed the 9.05.700B patch, use these steps to download and run the conversion file.
1. Log on to EPICweb and go to the Customer Portal Page. Navigate to Support > Epicor 9 > Downloads.
Navigate to Epicor 9 > Version 9.05.700.
2. Download the PA905700B_CVIM.zip file. Unzip the file.
3. Navigate to the correct platform-specific folder. Copy the cvim0219.r file to one of the following folders
on your server, based on your Epicor application:
• Epicor 9 32-bit. Copy to: \Clientserver\cv
• Epicor 9 64-bit. Copy to: \32\Clientserver\cv
4. On the server, run the Epicor Admin Tools program as Administrator. To do this, navigate to Start >
Programs > Epicor Software > Epicor 9.05, right-click Epicor Admin Tools and select to Run as
Administrator. Login with a valid Epicor User ID and Password. Click OK.
5. Select the Run Conversion Program option. Select conversion program 11196. The program is called
"Assign CostID to PartTran records".
6. When the processing is completed, close Epicor Admin Tools.
Verify Required Supplemental Upgrades

Review the list of supplemental installations that must be upgraded in order to be compatible with this Epicor
application release. If a supplemental installation is not listed, it is already compatible with this release and does
not need to be upgraded. You will use the Supplemental Installation Guide to complete the installations.
