things, because beauty does
something to our spirits.
Encountering the Presence
of God
The new covenant world that
God established is a world
where you can encounter God’s
beauty and strength in the
sanctuary, in worship. This is the
world that He came to establish.
You are now living in that new
covenant world. I don’t know
about you, but when I think of
the world that God established
for me—a new covenant world of
salvation, healing, deliverance,
beauty, worship, glory, praise,
and sacrifice to God—I can’t
help but to see His beauty all
around me.
I live in the new covenant world.
I’m in this physical world, but I
also inhabit another world—a
spiritual world that God rules
and reigns no matter what is
happening on this planet. His
lovingkindness and tender
mercies are new every morning.
When you look around and see
things such as war, terror
attacks, mass killings,
devastating natural disasters,
and premature death, it can be
hard to see the beauty of God.
People have been bombarded with
so much religion they think that’s
what serving God is about. But God
didn’t come to set up a religion;
He came to create a new world, a
new order, and a new place in the
spirit, not religion.
If people only knew the joy, peace,
prosperity, and rest they can have,
they would have life and that more
abundantly.
If they only knew the greatness of
God when He reveals Himself to
them, how they can enjoy God and
being in the kingdom of God, and
how they can enjoy being with His
people in a worshipping church.
They could experience such
freedom if they only knew! God
reigns and the world is established.
We live in a new covenant world of
salvation and righteousness
through Christ, and it cannot be
moved. I don’t care how many
devils and demons attack. They will
never be able to move this new
covenant world. It’s from
generation to generation to
generation. It will never end. It is an
unmovable kingdom that cannot be
shaken. No matter if the earth
quakes, and tsunamis, hurricanes,
and tornados come, this world is
established.
Your salvation and mine are
established. It is set. That’s why we
praise God the way we do. We have
something that is unshakable. We
don’t have to worry about the
kingdom being overthrown
and shaken. Nations may
rise, and nations may fall.
Governments and people
may come and go. But
there’s one thing that
continues from generation to
generation, and it is the Spirit
of God and the new
covenant. Forgiveness,
redemption, and the blood of
Jesus will never lose their
power.
GOD WILL ALWAYS BE
IN HIS THRONE
God is the same yesterday
today, and forever.
Psalm 121: 4 says He who
keeps Israel will never
slumber nor sleep.
God never goes to sleep.
There’s never a “Do not
disturb” sign on heaven’s
door.
God is always there. He is
faithful and good and kind.
That’s enough to praise
God for, and that’s what
the study of the
scriptures presented to
you today are all about—
worshipping God in all of
His beauty, majesty, and
splendor.
