* Nvidia GTX 960 and above series support HEVC (H.265) Encoding

** You can use any simple harddrive or network path (NAS,SAN,DAS etc.) as a video drive for Marsis Playout.
If you are planning to play high bitrate video files such as Apple Prores , DNXHD, AVC-Intra or any high bitrate formats
(above 25Mbit/s)you should consider to use raid configured drive sets.

An insufficient reading or writing speeds may cause drops or freezes on your output.

1 Preview : The window that video from the source can be viewed.

2 Audio Meters : You can see the audio levels of streamer output on the audio bars.

3 Video : You can Enable/Disable video preview with this checkbox.

4 Audio : You can Enable/Disable audio preview with this checkbox.

5 AR: You can Enable/Disable Keep Aspect Ratio settings with this checkbox.

6 Deinterlace : You can Enable/Disable the deinterlacing option with this checkbox.

7 Record / Pause : You can Start/Pause recording by using this button.

8 Stop : You can Stop recording by using this button.

9 Split: You can Split recording by using this button. It completes current file and immediately creates
another file by new file name.

10 Total Recording Time : The Counter that Total Recording Duration can be viewed.

11 Channel NO : Channel Number can be viewed here.

12 Channel Name : Channel Name can be viewed here.

13 Close : You can close the channel by this buton

1 Encoder Name : You can type an Encoder Name into Encoder Name textbox.

2 Video Source : Please select the Video Source that you want to add from the list.

3 Line: Please select the Video Line that you want to use from the list

4 Format : Please select the Video Format that you want to use from the list.

5 Audio Source: Please select the Audio Source that you want to use from the list.

6 Line : Please select the Audio Line that you want to use from the list

7 Format : Please select the Audio Format that you want to use from the list.

1 Add : Please click the Add Button to adding new recording preset.

1- Please open the Input Tab and set the input setting.

3- Please type file name into the File Name textbox.

4- Please select target file destination by using button

4- Please select a preset that you want to use in any format.

5- You can set Auto Split or Auto Stop duration events for each preset by enabling the following settings.

6- Once all settings are completed, click to adding preset. Otherwise click

Output Settings

7- The preset names and counters will be shown in the Output Tab

8- If you want to edit or delete any preset from the list. Please select the preset that you want to edit/delete and

click to editing or click to deleting preset.

9- Click button to start recording.

10- Click button to pause recording.

11- Click button to stop recording.

12- Click button to split recording. It completes current recording and create a new file immediately

with new filename and keep recording.

Multiple Encoder Controls

13- Click button to adding a new ancoder.

14- Click button to start recording all encoders at the same time.

15- Click button to pause recording all encoders at the same time.

16- Click button to stop recording all encoders at the same time.

17- Click button to split recording all encoders at the same time.

Creating Custom Preset
1- You can not edit or delete the system presets. If you would like to add a new preset, please follow the following
instructions.

2- Please open the Output Tab and click the button to adding new preset.

Output Settings

3- You can copy any preset by selecting from the list or you can create a new preset directly from custom preset.

Note: Custom presets will be shown in the related preset list. For example ; If you create a preset with AVI Format
and DV codec, that preset will be shown in the AVI => DV Presets.

4- Click to adding a new preset

Please type preset name here.

Please select Video Format from the list.

Please select Video Codec from the list.

Please set the Video Resolution.

Please select Video Frame Rate from the list.

Please set the Aspect Ratio.

Please select Field Order from the list.

Please select Bitrate Mode from the list.

Please set the target bitrate.

If you use VBR mode you must set the Max. Bitrate.

If you create a DV preset you must set DV format.

If you use VBR mode you must set the Buffer size.
(Sample buffer sizes : 1000 - 2000 etc. )
You should enable 4.2.2 color sampling for 4.2.2 presets.

Please select Audio Format from the list.

Please select Audio Sample Rate from the list.

Please select Audio Sample Size from the list.

Please select Audio Channels from the list.

Please set the Audio Bitrate.

Please enable checkbox to Split Audio Channels

Please click Cancel Button to Canceling operation.

Please click Save Button to Saving Preset.


Please click Delete Button to Deleting Preset.
Please click Edit Button to Editing Preset.
