NOTE :-
1. Admit Card shall be downloaded from Vihswavidyalaya website only. Admit card will not be sent by post.
2. The result of RET and all information regarding admission shall be displayed on the notice board and Vishwavidyalaya
website. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the Vishwav idyalaya website.
No information regarding this shall be sent by post. Hence, the candidates are advised to be in touch with the
website & the concerned department.
3. RET is only the eligibility test for Ph.D. course. The eligibility of the candidates will be valid for acadmic session
2018-19 only. The candidates who have qualified the RET will be called for interview to discuss their research area
before the Departmental Research Committee (DRC).
4. Final selection of the candidate shall be made on the basis of the Interview. In the Interview the candidates are
required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before departmental research committee.
The seat shall remain vacant in the concerned subject, if any candidate is not found suitable even after the
completion of the above process.

All information regarding Entrance Test (RET) & admission shall be displayed on the notice board
and Vishwavidyalaya website. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the
Vishwavidyalaya website. No information regarding this shall be sent by post.

Following main subjects / disciplines are available in the various faculties of the Vishwavidyalaya in which Ph.D. Degree
shall be awarded. A candidate is permitted to appear in only one of the main subjects in the entrance test.
